Yes. I rode the first Non-BURI Train fitted with the new Thermo King ACU last October 2018. It's not quite cold at that time, even if the weather is cloudy.
Since October 2018, 2 Dalian Trains performed a 150-hour RAMS Validation Test. The second Dalian trainset deployed in December 2018 was already completed the 150-hour RAMS test. But maybe this month and onwards, there will be another Dalian trainset performing RAMS test. Note: All 48 Dalian LRV need to undergo that mentioned test before they can be used for regular revenue service.
@@philippineassociationofrai8305 Thank you for teaching me. So is that the MRT3 runs only a Czech train until all Dalian train tests are over? On the official Twitter account of MRT3, the notation of "Dalian train" has disappeared from December 23.
@@TUbe-bv4fy Yes. After the all 48 CRRC Dalian 8MLB LRV passed the bunch of rigorous tests, they can now be used for revenue service along with the CKD Tatra RT8D5M LRV trains.
@@TUbe-bv4fy Japan's Sumitomo Corporation and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is already declared as the MRT-3's maintenance provider once again. Sumitomo Corporation and its technical subcontractor Mitsubishi Heavy Industries are the ones who designed, built, and maintained the MRT-3 system since 1997. This month, the 3-year long MRT-3 Rehabilitation will begin. The rehab will cover the replacement of 2-decade rails used until today, general overhaul of the 73 CKD Tatra RT8D5M LRV, and many more. The goal of the rehab was to bring back the original design and condition of the MRT-3 system after its completion in year 2000.
The reason why MRT-3 is running very slow today is because of the implementation of 10-15-25-30-40kph speed limit due to worn-out rails. The rails MRT-3 trains are currently running on is already 2-decade old, that means the rails used by the MRT-3 today was first laid during its construction stage in 1998. But luckily, Sumitomo-TESP and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has already started maintaining the MRT-3 system since November 2018, and the MRT-3 Rehabilitation will start by the last week of January or first week of February this year. We will soon experience the MRT-3 we know before:)
Another new aicon units again❄❄❄
First comment😊😊😊
