This young man has a RUclips rabbit hole that is worth every single second it takes to explore!! I would suggest going all the way to the beginning of his channel and take the journey, chronologically. The changes in Daniel’s vocal quality and his physical appearance are linked and show just how much dedication and discipline he has put into becoming the performer he is today. He has grown from a very young, green, slightly nervous 19/20 year old to the stunning polished presence you see onscreen now. There are lots of surprises along the way, and some often very emotional moments, but both the journey and Dan are sooo worth it… I absolutely adore this young man and couldn’t be prouder of him if he was one of my own children 🥰

I couldn't agree more. Dan is no doubt the most talented of this time. He can sing absolutely and cover and make it better than the originals. The ranges in his voice is unbelievable and amazing beyond words. His growth and changes thru out his singing career is like a metamorphosis as in from a caterpillar to a gorgeous butterfly that has spread his wings to take us all to a new level of music to appreciate. Thank you Dan for ur sweet music to my ears.
So true. I'm 72 and fell down that rabbit hole a couple of months ago when I clicked on Amazing Grace. I've told all my friends and family about him and amused my daughters when they visited and found me in the garden with his music belting out. 👏👏👏

If you listen again, Dan inserts growl to add a poetic dimension to that lyric, as well as when he rocks hard during the phrase “praise His name”. He is very selective to emphasize a phrase of the lyric. Amazing Grace is spectacular with the sensibility to the lyrics that lift us up.
I think the growl is in the only place where it would fit in this song

The "Let all within us"...(praise His Holy name) , growl made me rewind it many times because I kept hearing at least 2 notes in that wonderful growl. A5? high note, within the sub harmonic low note. It didn't take long for my mind to remember the story about how there's a bad wolf & a good wolf residing in all of us & it's up to us to feed the wolf we care for. But, as of yet, none of the coach reactors I've heard have mentioned it. Maybe it's just all in my head? But, even so, i really like the visual his growl brings to me.

Dans a badass, he puts everything ito his songs, I'd suggest checking out some of his covers of songs you know to hear his twist on it. Rolling in the deep and poker face are two songs pretty well everyones heard, he does some awesome things with those.

The growl was when he sang "all within us" meaning that all evil, sin, demons, etc within us will (grudgingly ) bow to His Holy name, whether they want to or not. I LOVE this song and all Dans music and I've never been a metalhead. But the way he does it, I love it. His cover of Bring Me to Life, that is one of my favorites and you'd have to listen to it to know what I mean. I love Dan! ❤ Thanks for the reaction!

Dan is unbelievably multi-faceted in his abilities. He does everything from Opera, 80s/90s, Phantom of the Opera, Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar, and Heavy Metal. His version of Amazing Grace has the large amt of views it has for good reason. Amazing Grace, Nessum Dorma, Adeste Fideles, Angels We Have Heard on High (in Italian, German, Portuguese, & English), Kiss From a Rose duet (Metal Version), and definitely Sleeping Sun. His upper register sometimes sounds like Geoff Tate of Queensryche & is really displayed in Sleeping Sun. Plus, he's also really funny. It's quite easy to end up binging on his videos. Enjoy the journey.

Rock and metal singers are very conscious of the health of their voice. The practice required to add the vocal fry and vocal distortion in a safe and healthy way is amazing. There are actually a lot of similarities between opera and metal singers when it comes to the level of care required. Elizabeth, aka The Charismatic Voice talks about this with her reaction to Vasc’s video as well as Disturbed’s version of Sound of Silence.

Bit late to this party. Dan’s fans were waiting for months for his Christmas drop because we knew whatever it was, it was going to blow us away. He and Victor totally regenerated Oh Holy Night into the powerfully epic exaltation of Christ EVER heard, they were magnificent! I had to chuckle at “so to see him be able to do something that’s like probably completely outside of what he normally does”. Would agree with you … IF it was not Dan Vasc. 😂 Expect the totally and most epically unexpected with him! Highly suggest reacting to Amazing Grace and more on his channel. I really hope you do discover more of Dan's work, I'm 71 and my music tastes go all the way back 8 decades now, raised 4 kids and have 6 grandkids, so still very much up to date about music, Dan is able to cover everything Elvis, Evanescence, Mulan, Nessun Dorma, Gethsemene (from Jesus Christ Superstar) and his Witcher series covers even Seal and Kiss from a Rose.. please browse I am so sure you will find plenty to listen to if not react to.. This is great, his rendition of Amazing Grace is the best of all time - period.
But did you like it? We, in Vasc Nation waited all year with baited breath to see if he would do this. He hit us with it for Christmas. I am among other 80 year olds who love this. You have to step out of your comfort zone, but that`s not a bad thing! You don`t have to like it but we just want to know. THEN....go for Amazing Grace, Burn Butcher Burn and Star Spangled Banner. More Dan please, Vasc Nation is huge and promises many subs/views. Other reactors new to Dan have been gobsmacked with the huge rise in views and subs.
