You have my utmost respect for three things in this reaction. 1. You observed that Lovebites are as good as they are because they challenge themselves to make each successive release *better* than the last. 2. You are the *ONLY* reactor to correctly assess Asami’s vocal style. I understand Aretha Franklin is one of her idols and she has such a big heart that she sings every song as if it’s her last, giving it everything. Soul and RnB are her first love (or used to be, she’s admitted that discovering metal is the best thing that she could ever have done…as a person and as a singer). 3. Kudos for the interruption and the tribute to Tina Turner. That, by you, was a touch of class. And finally, get your sorry ass to Japan as soon as possible. You will not regret it. Most wonderful people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. I saw Lovebites return to the stage after an enforced absence on March 11th in Tokyo. They have a Japanese tour in August and September and, at Tokyo airport, I got (via lottery…it’s how they do it in Japan) a ticket for the Osaka show on 15th September. They intentionally create hard songs to play (Miyako composes like half of all their songs) to improve even more and raise the bar higher for them and everybody else. And they do it in such impressive way that not so many bands do in their whole career with each new album or EP or anything. Thats why i love them so much. These girls can do everything. Never saw a band that can play heavy metal, power metal, thrash, progressive metal, ballads, hard rock and all of that at such high level-Lovebites is special. And fact that they are cute girls is just a nice bonus to the whole story

@@paulread4886 Yeah, Babymetal has been using the Western kami band (made up largely of members of the Star Wars-themed metal band Galactic Empire, who they met a few years back when Galactic Empire and Sabaton opened for Babymetal) for many of their North American and European shows since 2018 or 2019, after Yui left. The Eastern kami band still plays for the Japanese and Asian shows, and for the occasional European show. I got lucky enough to see the Eastern kami band back in 2016 in Chicago, as well as Yui still being there at that time. I'll see them later this year co-headlining with Dethklok in September. I love Momoko, so I'm really looking forward to it!

I have observed reactions many times when, after the first listening (or watching a video) of LOVEBITES, metal heads sat with their jaws dropped 😂and could not understand what they had just listened to and watched? 😳 and how is it possible that ladies in beautiful white dresses can play metal better than men in black clothes, etc.?!🤔
You have my utmost respect for three things in this reaction.
1. You observed that Lovebites are as good as they are because they challenge themselves to make each successive release *better* than the last.
2. You are the *ONLY* reactor to correctly assess Asami’s vocal style. I understand Aretha Franklin is one of her idols and she has such a big heart that she sings every song as if it’s her last, giving it everything. Soul and RnB are her first love (or used to be, she’s admitted that discovering metal is the best thing that she could ever have done…as a person and as a singer).
3. Kudos for the interruption and the tribute to Tina Turner. That, by you, was a touch of class.
And finally, get your sorry ass to Japan as soon as possible. You will not regret it. Most wonderful people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. I saw Lovebites return to the stage after an enforced absence on March 11th in Tokyo. They have a Japanese tour in August and September and, at Tokyo airport, I got (via lottery…it’s how they do it in Japan) a ticket for the Osaka show on 15th September. I’ve since bagged a ticket for Sapporo too. Best band ever. I mean ever. More reactions to Lovebites please.
Thank you. I couldn't just let my very I'll timed "joke"(if you want to call it that) after I only learned after the fact she had passed. Thought I'd clarify that and most importantly tribute a true legend in music history. There's even high probability Asami was influenced and inspired by Tina at some level. That's how far her inspiration reached.

They intentionally create hard songs to play (Miyako composes like half of all their songs) to improve even more and raise the bar higher for them and everybody else. And they do it in such impressive way that not so many bands do in their whole career with each new album or EP or anything. Thats why i love them so much. These girls can do everything. Never saw a band that can play heavy metal, power metal, thrash, progressive metal, ballads, hard rock and all of that at such high level-Lovebites is special. And fact that they are cute girls is just a nice bonus to the whole story
Experience Maximum the Hormon ! And speaking of beautiful legs , Miyako's are the most beautiful !
By the way , I like Samara Joy's voice the best beyond any junres in music !

here's another great Japanese female band. this is a must see clip. BAND MAID , Domination live 2020 in Tokyo. be warned this is another rabbit hole that may consume you. they tour US and kil lit every night. more cute power stuff from talent girls.
Just left Band-Maid about three hours ago! Unfortunately a short set, because it was a festival (Pointfest in St. Louis), but nonetheless absolutely phenomenal!
@@garykeeling2275 yeah they kill it and have FUN. I went and saw Babymetal a week ago with great trePidation , as not that much into their new stuff, and they replaced all the players with Western but they were great and FUN, AUDIENCE WENT FUCKING NUTS.
@@paulread4886 Yeah, Babymetal has been using the Western kami band (made up largely of members of the Star Wars-themed metal band Galactic Empire, who they met a few years back when Galactic Empire and Sabaton opened for Babymetal) for many of their North American and European shows since 2018 or 2019, after Yui left. The Eastern kami band still plays for the Japanese and Asian shows, and for the occasional European show. I got lucky enough to see the Eastern kami band back in 2016 in Chicago, as well as Yui still being there at that time. I'll see them later this year co-headlining with Dethklok in September. I love Momoko, so I'm really looking forward to it!
