Great video. I have a 35 3 cylinder with diff lock, as you say some 35X’s didn’t have diff lock… so called experts jumped down my throat at a Vintage Ploughing AGM about this very subject. Nothing like having the original MF Brochures to prove the point. Keep up the good work.
The best rust killer on the market is Jenolite. You paint it on, it converts the rust to black. Like gun blue? Once dry, paint it. That Hammer Right is thick & messy. The best Jenolite is the clear liquid, in a black bottle with red writing. Have fun
I have tried some of that on my Landrover. I am not overly impressed with it. I bottomed the rust then painted it on. After a year some has started to blister. 🤷♂️
Had my 35 restored few years ago. Did use agri line brake linings but was never happy with them. So I’ve now charged to another supplier with softer linings much better now
@@Mr_b_yorkshire_farmer she looking good for 20 years I’ve just put some rear wheel weights on mine for ploughing. Do you get to use or is it just for shows
Good day from Cape Town, South Africa. I’ve been enjoying your content. Please could you tell what one could expect to pay for a Massey 35 that would still need to be restored? Thank you Iain
Another great Video Richard, much better than watching the rubbish on tele any day of the week .

Ahhh interesting. For the life of me I can not remember where the brakes came from. It was about 20 years ago.

I'm not a Massey man, but always think a 35x was better looking and sounded better than a 135
