“BTS PROBABLY BIGGER THAN ALL OF KPOP COMBINED” and that’s on period. To this day, BTS remains on hiatus, but no other K-pop group has debuted at the top of the Hot 100 charts-only BTS and its members Jimin and Jungkook. They’re also the only K-pop act to receive Grammy nominations, with five to their name. BTS continues to dominate the IFPI charts, Spotify, RUclips, Apple Music, and iTunes, and they are still the biggest and best-selling Korean act in history. They’re expected to return next year, likely bigger than ever. The anticipation is huge, and I can’t wait to see them back doing what they love most: making music and performing!💜
BTS definitely paved the way for kpop, but as of recently, there’s many new groups shining, and seeing other groups getting popularity is really cool to see, hopefully bts can pass on their torch to another group, just as seo taiji did to them 🥹🥹
I don't see how. Maybe in a few years but I would not bet on it since what they have archived is at the upper limit of legends in the global music industry. Maybe Stray Kids will make the jump - they seem the closest.
@@jut_dwaetoucher nah stray kids are the first and last stray kids. I don't think they should be compared to bts, because stray kids has literally created their own genre of music and reached unfathomable success by making extremely divisive and non-general-public-friendly music. out of all the artists who sell out large arenas and stadiums, stray kids are the most experimental. so it's disrespectful to call them the next bts when they are a totally different type of musician.
@@machinelearner108 I think there is some missunderstanding here. Closest does not mean actually close till now. Maybe in a few years. Yes, they are two completly different acts and they should be seen as such. But BTS is also considered their own category and they have more music variation than any other act I heard of. That is no diss to SKZ. They are good as far as I know.
@@ruthfischer7615 bts have far from the most diverse discography. bts fans listen to the entire bts discography and then listen to 10 songs from any other Kpop act, then no wonder you think bts has the most musical variation. you could give a list of every single bts genre covered, and seventeen, stray kids, bap, ikon, vixx, NCT etc fans would give you songs from their groups that match all those genres, and then loads more genres bts has never even touched once.
Oh definitely! I feel like if BoA didn't break into the industry as big as she did, female solo artists now would struggle a bit more in the industry. BoA really opened the door for the future female artists. And she is so empowering and talented too!
If I remember correctly, that member was originally in Levanter but left close to release. Chan said that the Kids had to redo a lot of work to remove him from the video, re-record the songs etc to release the music.
The more you get into BTS the more you'll realize that most ARMYS DO NOT like KPOP. KPOP will unfortunately never be a respected industry IT IS ONLY BTS WHO WILL LAST AND HAVE AN IMPACT AND ITS THE TRUTH. ONLY BTS IS KNOWN BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC. Kpop is a generic and predictable industry whose only aim now is to somehow make the next BTS. They want BTS' success so bad that every promotional article says "will this group be the next BTS?" ARMYS HATE to put BTS in the kpop sphere as K-pop's quality of work is not even 1% as good as BTS' body of work. When the west saw how big BTS is, they made the K-pop category in award shows to limit them. BTS is the most awarded artist of all time. 5th most streamed artist on spotify OF ALL TIME. The streams BTS has is more than ALL the other groups combined because they have quality and respectable work not unnecessary loud music that is made just for the sake of performing and not art. BTS is heavily involved in writing, composing and producing their songs unlike anyone. Thats why they have impact not just hype. So yeah, K-pop will NOT grow after BTS. It WILL shrink back. BTS PAVED THE WAY FOR KPOP, SOUTH KOREA AND ASIA. BTS is a huge advantage to K-pop but K-pop is a huge disadvantage to BTS. There will be no other fandom like ARMY. Even now, MORE THAN 60% of HYBE'S REVENUE IS THROUGH BTS despite them having countless groups and other business partnerships. Thus, ARMYs NEVER introduce BTS as a "K-pop" group to ANYONE.

When I was young I did not know anything about Kpop. I was working a lot in my teens and twenties. I grew up on mostly R&B, Pop Rock Jazz and Latin. I didn't notice Kpop till my early 40's. I became a Kpop for 6 years. My first favorite Kpop group is BTS.
who's princes of global pop= BTS
who's Billboard’s Greatest 19th Pop Star of the 21st Century= BTS

Oh how just the mention of BTS brings a smile to my face 😊😊😊😊
As people say KPOP is divided into BEFORE BTS & AFTER BTS
Lee Haein will be a next successful creative director, she was a talented contestant on Produce 101 season 1 but got eliminated. After that she created her own group KISSOFLIFE and now they are becoming famous. Hope you react to them!❤

Seeing Rain next to you is so funny because I honestly think you look alike
BTS paved the way!!!!🔥🔥
“BTS PROBABLY BIGGER THAN ALL OF KPOP COMBINED” and that’s on period.
BEN IN HIS 1ST GEN KPOP ERA>>>>
BTS definitely paved the way for kpop, but as of recently, there’s many new groups shining, and seeing other groups getting popularity is really cool to see, hopefully bts can pass on their torch to another group, just as seo taiji did to them 🥹🥹
I don't see how.
Maybe in a few years but I would not bet on it since what they have archived is at the upper limit of legends in the global music industry.
Maybe Stray Kids will make the jump - they seem the closest.
@@ruthfischer7615 completely agreed, stray kids are definitely going to be the new bts, without a doubt

I think there is some missunderstanding here.
That's who Hongjoong reminds me of, fooking G-Dragon, and Yunho reminds me of T.O.P.
It's called "bts paved the way" 💙
IU is The K-pop Princess and BOA is the Queen of K-pop in my opinion.
Oh definitely! I feel like if BoA didn't break into the industry as big as she did, female solo artists now would struggle a bit more in the industry. BoA really opened the door for the future female artists. And she is so empowering and talented too!
@@alinacarrasquillo34 yes BoA is indeed a QUEEN and IU is princess 👑✨
If I remember correctly, that member was originally in Levanter but left close to release. Chan said that the Kids had to redo a lot of work to remove him from the video, re-record the songs etc to release the music.
Absolutely BTS pave the way.... Period 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Seotaeji is a legend and invite BTS to his aniversary concert, watch it, the guy is amazing
18:36 that fave change when he didn't hear bts😂😂😂😂😂
BTS paved the way 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Here❤
The more you get into BTS the more you'll realize that most ARMYS DO NOT like KPOP.
