      Yeah I didn't say it only a thought but I purposely did not cap that south cut off point and made an effort to walk around it. Makes the flank even more surprising when they came around the corner!

    The fact that the AA flak gun still doing a decent amount of damage to the Stuart shows viable of a counter it is against all light vehicle because its the most armored light, anything more are technically mediums i.e AA crusader or weibel. According to Cohstats you can expect it to deal about 8.7-10 dps to the Stuart from 50-30 distance on the front, 11.9-13.4 on the side being base on my calculation. It might be possible to dive the AA flak using the hull and coxial MG since the MG is strangely accurate 27% on the hull and 28.8% because team weapon are sized 1.33. Sadly, the Main Gun is just a bit too unreliable if it was 1/2 as good as the Greyhound it would be solid but its a bit better then a 1/3.6 in order to do decent anti-infantry you have to rely on the MG which present two problem which is range since you can no longer do decent damage against handhelds kiting with just the main gun, the other being that the hull MG is front-facing meaning it's tricky to maneuver. The main gun expected DPS 4.7 at max range, the GH is a high 17.342, combine with the MG the Stuart does 13.423 at 35 range. You can expect 2 Stuart to do slightly better then 1 Humbar at kiting range but much more at 35.
    There is lot to unpack with the Stuart
    -It extra armor is mostly only good against autocannons and flak. 8 Rad has 13 Pen, Weibel 12, Flakvierling is 12 but has a 24 slowing round at vet 1 plus its 45 range, and the grounded Flak 30 has 22 Pen. Against Pjagers and ATG it doesn't do much.
    -It Main Turret lean more towards AT but does contribute some damage and most of its anti-infantry rely on the MG where it pretty good.
    -Lots of utility including tread shot which snare on a tank which is unusual on a tank, you do have the 221 with the phosphorous round but that front facing plus its flimsy, and the Flakvierling but its because its the Flakvierling it can do everything. It also does 80 damage even to a Tiger and its properly 40 range.
    -It also has Mark vehicle it does cost munition but its on a fast moving tank. This is obvious a very powerful ability in many case more then double the DPS on the target and granting vision.
    -The commander buff is weird it increase accuracy by 10%, vision by 5, and RELOAD(?) instead of rate of fire. It doesn't seem to buff team weapons like HMG or ATG where it would be really good sadly so what the reload for handheld AT maybe. Giving a Recce Section 47 range is neat and the spotter ability is strange but it could be used for offmap abilities, 70 vision is no joke.
    -Lets not go over how stupid busted a 9.2 self heal is
    But, despite all its utility a lot of the jank means its not straight forward to just rush 2 Stuart for the mid game.
    Hopefully, we get a game that can showcase a good British midgame which is very hard I would say out all the faction. USF is slow but extremely solid, WM and DAK have clear lines and rushes. It also does not have to deal with so many good anti-light axis have access to, Boys AT doesn't have a 250HT that Jaegars for mobility or raw efficiency of the call-in itself. They have the best bridge to the final tier but rushing puts you in a very weak position especially if you are losing. Of the 50,000 1v1 since the last patch 41,655 of those game lasted under 30 minutes, half the games last less then 20 minutes. You always have game with Tiers 1, 2, 3 but not always tier 4 or its already decided at the midgame. I also suspect as it gets more figured out like most other game it trend towards becoming faster.

      I agree the British Forces strength is the late game and games tend to be decided prior to that as the meta strategies tend to have a priority placed on early/mid game, often relying to a call in or heavy commitment to a lower tech structure to provide that military advantage and create a window of opportunity to punish a teching player. I feel I'm changing my British game strategy as a result. The Stuart is a more all purpose counter with huge utility. Like you said, I feel it's only worth diving a DAK flak HT if it is completely isolated or Stuarts are spammed beyond 2.

    How do you like the balance this patch?

      I'm really liking this patch for the most part! I feel the only thing irritating me is the LV based strats when combined with key abilities. Basically, Greyhound and Chaffee spam with Seek and Destroy, and 8rad spam with Mechanized Assault. It shouldn't be viable to spam 5-6 of these units, pop an ability and decimate the opponent that teched.
