Who at relic legit thought that rangers needed a buff, like where's the logic there
They're so stupid easy to use. Being able to fire a rocket while running is ridiculous, I would remove that and reduce the squad's weapons slots to 4.

i bet they didnt even think about rangers when buffing DAP, but yeah rangers were in a good place before this. If anything US issues are its late game armor or how bad tier 2 tech is.
COH 3 is a 69% recent reviews, 1% more to move from mixed to positive and the game will start to gain more players.

@@devoli85You can simultaneously play the game a lot while also thinking that it’s still not worthy of recommending to friends. I’ve got 1300+ hours in CoH3 and I’ve played it since the multiplayer tech test, but it’s only since the most recent patch that I would even consider recommending the game to friends as there were just so many bugs, missing elements, and major balance issues.

@@Damo20 balance issues ? People still complain about balance issues in coh2 and never stopped complaining about it
Rangers and Footguards are going to be quite oppressive at low to mid-level games here. A single Ranger squad can be focused down or kited, but it's insane when you mass them and then support them with Captain and Designate Assault Position. They can absolutely kill everything in the game with just A-move.

11:55 - the emplacements having about 5 more range might be because the range may be measured from the edge of the model rather than the centre? I don't know for sure, that's just a guess but the emplacements seem to have a radius of about 5.

tightrope opening the video with an "ahoy" ....most unusual..... I think with the new hit show Shogun centering around an English pirate in Japan, he's trying to signal to us that the next DLC for CoH3 produced by Relic entertainment, which was an English company, will be featuring a faction that is predominantly known for its navy, Japan. Clever way to sneak around the NDA.

I feel like wehr needed that gren utility in early game. Foot guards and rangers might turn into an oppressive meta.

Prettt sure it’s because they can’t fire up front for the artillery that’s why they gain the 5 extra range no?
pls more Ranger buffs we need more ... what about camouflage? or maybe capture a vehicle? or just oneclick delete enemy base?
Rangers are and have been pretty oppressive, honestly they should lower or outright remove any reduced suppression on the squad itself. Cover-to-Cover also really needs to get looked at for how effective it is (giving CqC units a way to close the gap really easily should have some downsides or at least a not so simple way to proc it)
They an still keep the DAP reduced suppression because it'd benefit other infantry; but Rangers are a huge outlier due to their kit in general.
Not to mention the Captain, that's almost always guaranteed to be there because of ISC benefits, has the ability to Unsuppress and speed up a squad. Also Indirect Fire at Vet 1 to displace MGs.
The purpose of the MG for crowd control and keeping squads at a distance gets really poor when facing Advanced Infantry + ISC due to how it has really effective ways to get around suppression.
I shifted my review, i would recommend coh3 now, but i still think some broken things will remain.. i hope they remove shooting on the go special weapons...

Always a fan of guards getting buffed as they're my favourite unit in the franchise!
But truth be told- despite only being continually buffed each patch: man for man, they've had the highest close range DPS of any infantry in the game for a long time now..!
It's just that, as Tightrope pointed out: they only have a maximum of four Thompson-wielding troops at full strength, which means their anti-infantry DPS drops off sharply with each man lost cuz' of the two zooks they mandatorily carry.
So, I've been wondering for while now- if Relic could somehow implement a way for them to 'stow their bazookas' to make them more suited to anti-inf engagements - similar to how SSF can swap to Johnny LMGs.
But with their current DPS profile, the resulting damage potential might just be a little too spicy! 🤭

Merge is bugged right now, it gets on cooldown even if you target a full squad. Kinda problematic if you missclick in the heat of battle.
IMO axis gets too many powerful infantry options early game
Ability is active! Thats super grneric, it should say something like, call the reserves !
It would be nice but given the financial issues I wouldn't expect them to get the voice actors back in for post-release abilities

Playing this game since first one, over 5000 hrs gameplay online, COH 3 worst balance and content on the franchise... 10:40 rangers running through mg is just sums things up... Why do you have suppression mechanic if u gonna pass it anyway.... Atleast 3 to 6 models down would be fair. Really bad balance desicions. I remember too many idiotic changes from other games but by far worst desicions on 3th game...
THIS GAME IS BORED AND DUMB

@@nicolasnicolas2801 Coh1 is great but it is already old, time changes and coh2 has better multiplayer, coh3 introduced a lot of QOL changes.
Why then watch content about it? Go spend you free time somewhere else
