Very cool footage.....thanks for sharing.....I gotta ask this question though, and I've trying to figure it out on my own, but, when there are several loco's pulling a train, is there a reason some of the loco's are running backwards?? Thanks
Hi MrAirman812. There is no reason for them facing backwards. They're all controlled from the front loco anyway which is nice because it would be a pain to have to turn them all around. Thanks for watching :)
I thought it eas to reverse the mileage display on the meters. Effevtively, "clocking" the locomotives so they are worth more as a trade in, when the time comes?
I sorry but trains don't race each other, they are under track and speed restrictions from certain mile post to others. Great video of some good action!
More great catches! I lived not far from Cajon Pass……always loved the trains!
Nice Cajon Pass footage! Really liked that GP60B!
6 trains in one shot, and from that view you have, you can see trains approaching from further west
That is a lot of tonneage coming ion and out of the Los Angeles area.

Is a 4th main needed over the pass?
Probably not. They seem to be doing well with three.
