Harry Potter you are a legend 😂
George Clarence Nope... He's a Wizard. 🙄
Why not both?
Harry Potter that would make anyone go waiit a min. WTF !!!
If the young players on tour would start trying new stuff like this, imagine how much more interesting professional tennis will be. I'm so gonna miss Roger when he retires.
What would happen? Nick kyrgios will dominate and be 2 in the world.
+Alexander Cortez When RF retires, what will fedtards do?
1. Commit ritual harakiri in the Federer Temple Of
Worship in the Alps.
2. Start waiting to see who will dominate next, and then
root for him.
3. Give up on tennis and finally clean the sport of their
moronic, embarrassing presence
4. Get lobotomies.
It can't be 4, right? They already had their lobotomies.
not that nadtard/djokotard war again...

can you delete the troll please ?
+Benfo G Does it suck, growing old and jaded?
+Benfo G Bhel, such an idiot
34 years of age and still improvising at the highest level. That's Roger Federer for you!
+Annanya Johari great man ..legend
+Annanya Johari Average age of top 10 now is around 29. More than ever before in Open Era. Used to be about 23-25 in the 90s. So being 34 is no big deal anymore, sort of like being 29 in the 90s.
+Benfo G probably due to lack of talented young players who could step up to top 10 aging players.. kyrgios is the only player in my mind who can be a threat to top 10 but his on court attitude really messed up his games lately..
Yes, but why are there no mega-talented players in their teens anymore, or at least in their early 20s? The million dollar question.Clovis Tratchenberg
thiem is very talented also...and maybe it s just that the top players are that great and the game is much harder now
Becker was thinking "Did i or did i not turn off the stove before i got out the house".

LOL djokovic was getting so mad
+SuiChoy As usual. If he can't win, het gets angry
+Ties Roeleveld that's the mentality of a winner. you wouldn't know.
Ah so if you can't win, you always have to be angry? Every single time? Djoko always smashes his racket if he can't win, screams and shouts like an idiot etc. Thats a fact and i found it pretty idiotic.
+DANK MEMES yes that makes sense. First; i am calm, second; if i mention a negative fact about a tennis player it doesnt mean i have a fetish for another tennis player. Pathetic, that you do not understand Anything of that? Yes, thats pathetic.

+SMARTMONEYMATCH Yeah haha. Why is he whining
+Simon Jørgensen Becker is Djokers trainer! :D and Edberg is fedexs :)
+SMARTMONEYMATCH Too bad for Fed that he didn't wait to show this at US Open cause then Djoko was prepared and only at the first time it seems beneficial and even shocking. Djoko has made these mistakes mainly because it really shocked him.
That second one was just insane. Half-volleying a 106 mile per hour serve at full stretch? Crazy.
Yeah, you have to wonder how difficult it is to pull off a shot like that. Insane skill.

+whisperer46 Wawrinka is the only one that could made our dream come true..
+whisperer46 ha ha good one, you forget to mention the 4/26 break points where if he won one or two more the result would be flipped.
+whisperer46 who cares, hes beaten djokovic enough times already. He just plays for an enjoyment now. a 34 year old federer giving a *prime djokovic* problems. That says enough for me,
+Simón Tamayo Cry some more :)
+Simón Tamayo That's every sport. You have haters and you have admirers. People just want Federer to win at least 1 more slam or slams. Why? Because people like him of who he is completely. He's 34, he can't do what he did in the past, don't ask me why because I don't know. People tell me there's a huge difference in every age you're at than before. Every time I see a Federer hater they bring up the arrogant word, that I don't know why.
Michael Chang used the tactic of standing close to the service line to return serve. against Ivan Lendl back in1989 Roland Garros. Lendl was completely puzzled, even angry and complained to the umpire, but Chang was complying with the rules, and it worked. Later on, serving at 4-3, 15-30, he pulled out an underarm serve. Amazing. He was 2-0 down and ended up winning 3-2 in one of the best comebacks ever. He displayed a completely unorthodox play, but beat the number 1 in an epic match
Ima assume your orphaned pronouns refer to Micheal Chang.
@@methodsignature exactly. Well, assuming that by "Micheal" you mean Michael
@@methodsignature what sense would any of it make if “he” referred to Lendl? Bonehead. That means you Randall.
He was cramping and no longer able to really move so it wasn't exactly a tactic he'd repeat.
Difference was that Chang took up his position before Lendl serve.
My two favourite tennis moments are Chang v Lendl at the French and Connors v Chang at the French where Jimmy retired the match and the chair begged him to try and continue. Both very moving.
Utterly bloody amazing. This shot has been sitting there waiting to be discovered, waiting, waiting. Took Roger to find it.

Becker claims that players from "his" generation would never do such a unsportive thing while Mansour Bahrami has done something similar in a match against Becker. It's not because you can't cope with it that it's wrong, get over it Boris!!!
+ppdan Becker's service would have killed any player trying to do this on him.
+LaughingStock71 I thought your nickname was funny but then I read your comment and it cracked me up :D

He should've surprised with it in the US Open final, because by showing his hand early, Novak was ready next time they played in the bigger match.
Becker's stunned look. Just epic!
+Marius Bancila More epic was the USO finale.
FORGET about SABR...just enjoy Boris Becker´s priceless facial expressions disapproving Federer´s ¨tactic¨ lol
+PinkasBrown44 Boris Becker is smug prick!
The same SABR was nuetralized permanantly by Novak in US open. I was witnessed at that stadium. Fed tried that tactics but Novak quickly throw the ball over head. Even there was no chance turn back. So SABR is failed tactics.
@@balandr2544 maybe, but I love that kind of tennis when Dustin Brown kicked out Nadal 2015 in 3 sets. that was very impressive by a player ranked 85

lets just get this over with.
Roger can school every single player in the tour when he is on fire ;)
Correct
Federer is the greatest talent in tennis and one of the greatest in sports ever
Nice of Federer to show this trick in Cincinnati, Djokovic came prepared for this in USOPEN Final 😅
Years ago there used to be something called "chip and charge," basically the same thing but with underspin. So he is reintroducing the tactic. It was done back in the day when Becker played, but not everyone. Back then a few more people played strictly serve and volley.
Hah-hah! (Nelson's point and laugh) XD
Becker's face was hilarious XD
The way Federer played with that "new weapon" it's very good for him finally he won the match and that's the most important thing in the game get it? Now it's not illegal or unsportive like Becker said it's just that Federer is so talented that he can invent strokes and strategies of play that's all guys the rest it's just envy.
This has to be next level. I cannot see or understand how he returns that serve with such style. Amazing
Thumbnail is perfect because Boris thought it was "disrespectful" of Federer to do this.
Oh yeah I remember this, as soon as the ball leaves the players had the ball is in play, so Federer runs towards it. That takes courage ( balls)
Imagine this was in a tiebreaker vs one of the best all time. Talk about confidence. Unreal. 🎾🔥.
lol in my mother tongue SABR means "patience" and this is the complete opposite of patience lol

SABR: sneak attack by Roger!! Its a acronym and not a word in itself!!
@@Asiandramas99 arabic
HAHAH true
Seeing as how the SABR isn't the only shot Roger hits that makes his opponents look ridiculous, Becker must think Roger is the most disrespectful player of all time.
McEnroe did this pretty often…though usually against second serves. It was fun to watch him against serve and volleyers, taking the net before they could get there…and usually winning the point. If you have a really great half-volley and fast reflexes I think it’s a nice option to throw in there every now and again. Practice those half-volleys boys and girls!
Yeah and Djokovic was like "You gotta be kidding me" 😂
@@shadowagent6051 it's too bad he didn't actually shout this out loud. Lol

Just another reminder as to why Federer is the GOAT
Federer is impressive as always! Miss him! The only other player I have watched in recent times who isn't hesitant to take on the serve early is Andy Murray.
Gotta respect Roger for thinking out-of-the-box, I bet Paul Annacone loves seeing this (as he attacked serves all day long) and Becker is a serious looser for coming out with these BS comments how it's disrespectful, downright idiotic!
So where was the SABR in the US Open Final? Genuine question.
+MS He did it a couple of times, with mixed results.
+MS He realized that screwing around with show shots doesn't win you slams.
+MS He did it several times and mostly made himself look like a fool.
highwaystar1009 Hitting the ball this close after the bounce makes it really hard to control. The few times he actually managed to hit a decent return, it was because the serve was sloppy. I doubt he'll ever be able to pull this off against the Isners/Karlovics/Raonics...etc.
+MS I remember he did one in the last few games of the match and won the point with a smash.
I like the dude who says he's gotta drop and give 10 push ups. That's how a man reacts to seeing greatness, like now he knows what he's up against so he better get to work.
The god of tennis. No one is even close
lol so why all his records broken by nole?
The SABR wasn't invented for Roger to directly win points but to indirectly win matches as this technique improved his hand eye coordination and in turn improved his backhand tremendously as we saw from the start of 2017. Federer' backhand had become so aggressive he now hits further within the baseline, hits the ball early and with much bodyweight into the swing.
One more big achievement for the Fed Express: A new shot with his name! The Legend is complete. :D
+Gio Brun Fedtards are also legendary in their blind idolization.
Is not blind! It works good for us... 18 Grand Slam!!!! G.O.A.T.!
Gio Brun that must require steel tendons in forearm and wrist ! damn
that was just return and volley!!! amazing skills of Roger there and only he can do that.
McEnroe use to do that all the time
The look on Becker's face classic
WTF !!!
Boris's face is a picture. No player is likely to ever achieve the heights that Roger Federer gave us. Novak is good, there's no doubt, and he's consistent and hard to beat, just not in the same league as RF.
Both have 20, it's horrible to say they're not in the same league. They are in the same league, but Federer is the OG GOAT.
Novak will be remembered as the guy who toppled Roger and Rafa.

Роджер - гений в Мире тенниса.
Roger is a genius in the world of tennis.
Thats one of the reasons why he is the best. It is not just the number of titles.
that's why it will be very hard to beat him consistently esp in his early days. he is the GOAT because he has both physical and mental game. nobody can say there will not be a player better than him but it will be very tough.
when the camera zoomed in on becker the look on his face was hilarious!

+Pixi.Zakon Hahaha lol
+Pixi.Zakon turn down for what!
+Pixi.Zakon he's still half the player and man Fed is. not to mention has 2/5ths the trophies
+ucdlin Federer invented this trick shot to play mind games against djokovic. I loved the look on his face when those two lob shots went over him. Federer should get to every grandslam final. That ensures that djokovic will win the final. He is scared while facing djokovic in the best of five sets because deep down he knows he cannot beat him no matter how much noise his disrespectful fan base makes. He tries so hard and ends up making 50+ unforced errors. It's funny really. Another thing, I am not from Serbia.
+ucdlin I think Djokovic would rather have 0 fans, than having a fan base consisting of you and the other USA fans :). And we both know how Fedex doesn't want to shake the hands of opponents that beat him and all the disrespectful looks on his face after a loss. A great man indeed.
I'm not a Federer fan, but have to admit that this move shows his amazing skill and hand-eye coordination. That being said, Federer still hasn't beaten Djokovic in a GS since 2012.
True but in fairness he is nearly 6 years older than Novak and had far more injuries just imagine Nadal with no serious injuries through out his career he would have over 30 GS and be the GOAT.
@@jasonwestwood7092Nadal hasn't beaten the actual goat in over 10 years in any match off clay... he was never going to be the goat
@@huzcer To many surgeries and injuries I'm surprised he can walk. 🤣
@@jasonwestwood7092 that particular physical style of play doesn't come for free - it has a price on the body. Djokovic has spent hours daily on flexibility for well over a decade which aids longevity in terms of play and injury prevention. he's also stringent on his diet, 10kg lighter than Nadal and that adds up on the joints over 20 years. it's not an accident. Nadal won 3 slams in a year once at the age of 24. Djokovic has done it 4 times and the 4th at 36.
Djokovic's face was like :"hold on that's not fair!"
Becker: "Damn that strategy would've helped me win more slams"
