    Dr. Nigel. Bonsai Master of pruning. This will get the trees off to a great start. I like the way you explain exactly why you do it and the benefit by doing it. Superb!

    Thanks for the ficus Nigel! I showed my 8 year old twin neices the video of you pruneing and potting it up. They were so fucesed on the steps and they had so many questions along the way.

    Great show! Awe.. If I had known some locals were going to see you, I would have sent items with them!! That's ok, I'll get these things to you. I finally have a bit of time off. So I can get to the post office while it's open! Great trims Nigel! I'm still not as brave for the big cuts....

    Hi Nigel, would love to know the substrate you planted those Natal Plums. Because the bark of mine seems to get moldy in my anorganic substrate mix (pumice, perlite, charcoal, zeolite). And there is not much information on the care of those plants in tiny pots… Thank you in advance and stay warm 🙏

    I got scale in my houseplants this year here in Michigan. I have no clue where it came from but it’s hard to deal with.

    At 19:11 the leaves of your tree look like a green guy who tripped backwards and fell of is feet. 😅 - feet up in the air to the left.

    Hi Nigel! You often say you have too many trees. The first one I would give away is this boring Hibiscus. It's really without any interest and I don't think you have another 30 years time to change that, unless you are still doing bonsai at age of 90... 😅

    • @nn843
      @nn843 11 месяцев назад +1

      Why not do bonsai at 90?

    • @kathyvettraino2267
      @kathyvettraino2267 11 месяцев назад

      He says he does some to give away to people who visit! I'd love to have a Nigel Bonzai!

    • @bastiv7806
      @bastiv7806 11 месяцев назад

      @@nn843 I would. But looking at 90 year old fellows, I doubt I can...

      @@kathyvettraino2267 Me too, but only if it's a good or at least interesting one.

      @bastiv7806 Well, I guess it all comes down to your interpretation of boring. I can't imagine one that Nigel, a skilled Bonzai artist, would spend his time on something not worthwhile.
