I have never heard "feeding supports ult charge" being used instead of "doing damage to the enemy"
Yup dmg that cannot be followed up on can be considered feeding
Supports get ult charge through healing, if you are doing slow passive damage like dynamite, their supports will just get free ult charge

@@epicevanhogan6489 well it’s 100% true, doing damage just to do damage isn’t always the best play, especially if that damage can’t be followed up like he said, it depends on team comps and the situation you’re in
As an Ashe player there’s no greater feeling than seeing a group of squishies clumped together the feeling of satisfaction when that dynamite blows up is unlike any other

Remember you shouldn't focus a FULL health tank. The hipfire burst down is best for LOW tanks or barriers. In general focus on supports/dps

Right but the amount of times I’ve seen someone die or lose an engagement because the didn’t have enough ammo lol
I think he means in between MINOR changes of situation or downtime in this case. Like walking behind cover to reengage 1 second later, you can reload like 3 bullets during times like that

That nade tip is so true as a lucio main for support when I see that nade I jump on it for the free ult charge because I can just boop bob away

I have 50+ hours of ashe gameplay and I'm masters 5 and never thought about not using dynamite at full ult charge. Probably the first video I actually learned something from a hero I genuinely play. Alot of other techs I don't know are heroes I don't play hardly at all.
The damage combo would be 1 scoped shot into 3 unscoped ones, kinda like a rhythm. Definitely better dps than just hipfiring constantly, but even that uses a ton of ammo and is thus risky. You don't wanna be caught out while reloading
honestly in the heat of a fight I find the best thing to do is try to mix in an ADS shot where and when you are confident you can land and stick to hip fire otherwise unless at range. I play a bit more offensively because I can't snipe for shit and this has gotten me quite a bit of success. I use the rhythm with reloads between reposition or enemy retreats and almost never get caught with less than enough rounds to get a kill with dynamite help atleast, but when shit gets weird it's best to not focus on too much outside of the fight and how to get kills/stay alive. in those moments, peppering in the one ADS'd shot when it works goes miles further than trying to maintain an optimal rhythm and spending too much brainpower on that.
As an Ashe main a tip I use to reduce the book affect of hip firing too much, you can do 3 quick consecutive shots 2 hip fire and the third ADS, start ADS while pulling trigger for third time, this will kill all squishes if you hit your shots and stop the hip fire from widening!
The ads shot + two hip its the bread and butter of ashe, you must use it against tanks

@@nuniabiznace4317 so far shop skins have never returned to the shop again, not saying they won’t but it seems Blizzard releases them once and never again
@@emma6648 I believe one of the dev people said "people should have another chance at star sheep orisa" its definitely a hint to reruns of shop skins eventually

The best tank busting fire is definitely "Ads hip hip Ads hip hip etc"
It's just as fast as spamming hip fire, but it does bursts of Ads damage as well, letting you one clip a tank.
I like to lead with an ADS and then hip fire. It gives a nice burst damage at the start, which makes the target panic, and then I can finish them off with the hip fire
I always throw my dynamite and shoot it once a group is together just to do a bit of splash damage so my allies have less damage to do to kill the enemies or i shoot it when its next to a enemies head to deal some really good damage when its just me and them 1 on 1 and afterwards i hip fire till empty.
Im very good at ash, when i first played as her i cant deny it, i sucked cuz i didnt like the reload she has and sometimes ahe doesnt reload when empty.
But i learned when to back off and reload and also to rely on my allies and learn when to be frontal assault or when to assist in a kill.
I do like how ashe is kinda of a tank like character but also kind of a support assault type.
the coolest thing i ever did with ashe was shotgun on an invisible sombra trying to hack me into an ADS headshot for the insta kill.

I hope flats reacts to this cuz this is bad advice and I’m a Ashe GM player lmao use your dynamite to pressure supports and dps to back off and secure kills. He’s good on the ADS and hipfire. After exactly 3 shots hipfire your spread will increase

Dynamite is not worth using suzu or pull bro or even immortality field. The ult charge you get from it also is very small, you’d probably only get about 4 percent ult charge from it which isn’t much.
I don't know if it's a good tactic, but I really like using the shoot, reload mechanic for like "rhythm" shooting at a distance. If they are far out and not at an immediate risk to me I'll shoot reload shoot to get a rhythm in my shot, then when they push me ill mix in the combos that you mentioned, and a dynamite if need be. It's been successful amd sometimes it baits people into the open with me where I have the advantage.
i think the best thing to do is to reload after getting an elim for the reload speed bonus

No it's not a good tactic. It may help you right now because your aim isn't quite there yet and the reload's pause gives you a breather to lock the target but you're wasting a lot of valuable time and dmg, you're a hitscan you don't need for the enemy to push in to get value you should be pressuring them before they go in.
Also reloading a bullet at a time is THE slowest way to reload

The greatest reason why ashe struggles is the prominance of barriers and the cripplingly long reload speed. There's so few situations where its not just better to pick someone else because of that alone
I disagree. You can bypass barriers with your dynamite by straight up tossing it around or over the barrier & shooting it. Also there's only one tank so only one barrier at most times to deal with. Besides that, the reload speed isn't terrible if you try to reload around when your clip is halfway gone.

I just play ashe like a longer range McCassidy and it works well.
I just dont know how the dynamite works, it sometimes fire up in air while sometime its gonna stay on ground for a such a long time not bursting🤷🤷
I am a realy good Ashe but i have huge problems with the reloading
Reloading as Ashe has always been one of the worst experiences I have had in overwatch only rivaled by a stunlock combo.
This was probably before Ashe had her buff for her reload speed

Dynamiting the enemy team is mostly good because it applies pressure to the enemy. Whether u have Bob or not. The more pressure you do the better. My point is it’s a bit more complicated than he makes it seem. I’m gm1 with a peak of top 200 if u wanted my credentials.

I like to throw my dynamite and not shoot it, just make them get scared away from it and then throw my bob at them while they’re trying to get away from my dynamite.
I'm the opposite, I let bob throw them up on the air and then I throw a dynamite into that general air to cause chaos
I do the same. Throw it on the ground in chokes during OT or if we're about to hit 100% in control... it's surprisingly effective to stagger

Make sure to keep the enemy comp in mind. If they are running 2 tanks then start with krakenslayer. If not then you could go gale force or eclipse as first item.

its very pay to lose cause the gun has very obstructive decorations, but it came out in a store bundle about a month and a half ago. called the Raijin and Fujin Bundle. i dont think its in the store anymore but it might come back in a rotation later on.
