The story was spun that she lied on him, no she was the messenger, now it was not very responsible to retell the stories with no proof because she had no evidence. She only didn’t want to reveal the women to protect them - just like she never named the men in question.
That an urban myth she didnt lie on him. A source told her he opened his hotel room door naked and she didnt like him acting like he wanted to see her as if she should drop everything to be in his presence.

I used to ride for AS but I just can’t anymore. Just like you mentioned, she’s the common denominator in waaayyy too many situations. I had to stop following her because she was becoming too angry and “woke” for my liking. She doesn’t appear to take criticism or accountability well and is always crying about being attacked or not protected.
The final straw was the interview with Shannon. People were really sticking up for her, like why is he trying to invalidate her diagnosis?! And taking up for her in the comments to people were saying she doesn’t display the signs of autism. Only for her to come out days later like yeah I wasn’t actually clinically diagnosed but I know my body. Like wtf. I can’t.

Me working in HR. I deal with people like Amanda EVERYDAY! A lot of the times they have a point but the constant issue after issue makes it exhausting. Like at what point call we just have a little thick skin
I've met and been involved with quite a few people just like Amanda, and yes it exhausting. She is an Energy Zapper. I now know how to deal with these folks, my radar is always up. I don't have the time nor the energy, I put them in my rear view mirror and all they see is exhaust fumes.

It doesn’t cost $10,000. In California with medi-cal it’s free. As a late diagnosed autistic person, I hate when ppl do this to use as an excuse. My autism makes me not so reactive because I have social processing delays, but she seems highly reactive which can be for other reasons like cptsd & trauma etc which sometimes can be hard to distinguish from neurodivergence you’re born with. Autism does however present differently in everyone like she could be misreading social exchanges and then just blindly reacting as neurodivergent ppl often suffer from RSD(rejection sensitivity dysphoria), but for me I often don’t even realize someone was being rude unless someone else points it out like I’m clueless until later when I process it. If she is indeed just misunderstood, I empathize as I don’t want to make any assumptions esp since women & poc are often overlooked and gaslighted that diagnosis can be a privilege especially since women tend to be better at masking, BUT there’s absolutely nothing stopping her now in the position she’s in from getting a proper diagnosis! For someone this concerned with themselves I’m surprised she would not want to do that for her not to mention it’s a missed opportunity to set an example for other undiagnosed middle aged women.
I paid out of pocket for my son’s evaluation in Florida and it costed $600.
JUST FYI - As someone who has lived and worked with young adults and work with children with autism, I want to add that each individual with autism is unique. Autism is not a cookie-cutter disability. Two people with Asperger/high-functioning ASD will still be different as night and day. I concur it does not cost that much to get a diagnosis. I do not like people who do not have ASD using it as a crutch for their behavior. FYI, I have worked with many who are reactive and tear up a room in a second - even at the college level.

I’ve never really thought Amanda Seals stood out enough. She’s not that good of an actress nor comedian. I think that she thought she’d be in a higher position due to her looks, imo.
Amanda likes the sound of her own voice. As a professional in mental health that deals with individuals with a diagnosis of autism by a profession, it is offensive to the specialists that are trained to do such diagnosis. She have her masters in African American studies some would say that is a waste because I can find books on African American culture without the degree. She needs to take a LOOONNNNGGG break from social media.
Some would say, sociology is a waste of a degree some would say art is a waste of a degree. Someone would say psychology is a waste of a degree. This is why most of America is in the ground. People just don’t respect degrees or livable jobs anymore. And it’s not about what her degree is. It’s about applying it in the field, or educating people.

Amanda definitely has some things going on with her all of us do but I just dont have the filter to receive her message, energetically speaking. I know she has a message but when I scroll my timeline, I be trying to decompress and her energy is saturated in negativity, hubris, and aggression. I just can't.
I feel you. Her message is actually pretty simple, but she makes you work over time with no breaks shifting through mountains of unorganized paperwork to find it, and imo that’s not how activists should spread their message. They should be direct and to the point while having the emotional intelligence to address the feelings portion of the topics they discuss, but not get so swept away that they leave their audience emotionally exhausted.

First of all she does not have autism. As a person who is clinically diagnosed that’s a LIE. You can benefit from diagnosis as an adult. I don’t even think she is autistic. I’ve met a black Karen irl. She even had the Karen cut and mannerisms to a “T”, and imo Amanda doesn’t have even a fraction of her power. I think she’s just an entitled spoiled brat. According to Amanda, her mom’s friend said this same thing about her to her mom regarding Amanda’s behavior as a child, and I think it’s true cuz she acts like a spoiled child that was never told “no”, and based on she speaks on her mom it’s clear her mom let her do whatever she wanted with disregard for consequences. Excellent vid RRG. Really impartial. I like Amanda but I think she struggles with accountability. It's not always everyone else. Amanda is a sensitive person who wears her heart on her sleeve. I saw so many reaction videos and posts about the Club Shay Shay interview. I clicked on the interview video so fast and so ready to light up the comment section defending Amanda. She irritated me so much I couldn’t even finish the video, I watched for 30 minutes and I hated Amanda more afterwards. How are you going to claim to be Autistic without an official diagnosis? How is everyone wrong and racist and you’re always the victim? How do you get to the hostel and all the ladies hate you already?
How is the interviewer being “COMBATIVE” for asking her questions during an interview?
The part that rubbed me the wrong way was how she wasn’t open to any other possible point of view of the situation. In my culture if you speak up against the elder you are guaranteed an ass whooping. And also this teacher praised Amanda on different occasions and criticized her one time. Amanda was okay with receiving those compliments and positive feedback but the moment she told Amanda she was in the wrong she automatically became racist 🤦♀️

Everyone can't be the problem. Autism is not an excuse, autistic people work and are able to maintain good relationships with people. Sometimes you won't even know the person's autistic depending on where they are on the spectrum. And if people told them that they were hurt by their words or action they'd feel bad, hold themselves accountable and learn from that. It's more likely narcissism, because there's zero accountability and delusions of grandeur.
She seems to be under this impression that she's an activist for the black community and she's done "so much" for us and we simply aren't grateful enough.
I have over 11 years of experience working with individuals with autism. Some are very honest and will say what comes to mind without thinking about the person's feelings on the receiving end. Sometimes, it takes a while for them to process the impact of what they said or have done-some may need help understanding the impact of their words. I can't diagnose this woman, but to use autism as the reason for negative behavior is very disturbing if, in fact, she is not on the spectrum.
