Tony if you still look at these comments I would kill for you to post Mary Without Sound or The Worst Part. Either way you're a legend and by far my favorite drummer. None of my other favorite bands have so many killer and creative drum parts throughout their catalogue.
This song is a clinic on limb independence with those quarter notes on the hi-hat. Seeing you do it like this is super helpful for those of us still learning to not have it drift after all these years. Thanks, Tony!
Tony, on the underside of your cymbals I cannot tell if I am seeing the dimple pattering from the making of them or if there are holes for a quieter sound of some kind. Great video, always loved this song. Thanks, Chris
Those are Sabian's FRX cymbals, with tiny holes around and on the bell (and edge on rides) making them a good deal quieter but still musical. Takes out some of those harsher frequencies which make for great sounding cymbals with a lot of control. Good for small clubs, churches, or practicing at home without driving your neighbours completely mad.
