[Idiopathic cystitis in cats] Why did it recur? Find out the cause!

I've heard that once a cat has idiopathic cystitis, it tends to recur after six months.
Raizo had idiopathic cystitis two years ago.
All cases of unknown cause are diagnosed as idiopathic cystitis.
It was longer than six months, but this time the crystals were also seen for the first time, so it was a big shock.
I couldn't help but worry about what went wrong and whether he would eventually develop the kidney disease I fear if he had that kind of constitution, but he got better once, and then I was told he had idiopathic cystitis again, and I felt angry that the cause was "unknown" (like I was taking out my anger on someone lol).
I now understand that it's inevitable that the cause is unknown when there are so many different causes.
Raizo won't get better unless we find out the cause! I thought about it a lot, so I hope it will be of some help to you.
When I was about to go to the hospital right away after my cat had an accident, I learned about the "urine-only test".
It was a way to take just the urine and have it tested without taking my cat, who is already weak and hates hospitals, to the hospital.
This was really helpful, but at the same time, I was scared of rushing to research and jumping to one piece of information.
It said that it was good to cool the urine in the refrigerator before taking it to the hospital.
Of course, crystals were probably really formed, but there's no doubt that cooling them would have made them even more.
I didn't see any blood or bacteria in the urine, but I almost cried when I was told there were crystals.
I'm sure there are many owners who have problems with urine leaking out. If the litter box is small, smelly, or you don't like the shape or sand, but the litter box is spilling out, then reviewing one of these factors may improve the situation.
Keisuke went all the way to the back of the litter box and turned around before lifting his butt, which was a problem. If you're in the same situation, try making a pile of sand.

こんにちは。動物病院勤務です。そもそも、猫がオシッコした後の砂を捨ててますか？？うちではデオトイレ(システムトイレ)は絶対使わないよう飼い主に伝えてます。考えてみて下さい、オシッコがついた砂を1ヶ月も使い回していいなんて、そんなバカな！いいわけないです！自分だったらどうですか？オシッコがついた砂の上に立ちたいですか？？綺麗好きな猫なら尚更嫌です。なので、もちろん病気になります。トイレに行きたいけど、行くのを我慢したりしてます。万病の元です。引き出しのシートも毎回取り替えて下さい。臭いです。自分も毎回流しますよね？砂もシートも毎回綺麗にしなくても大丈夫と言っているのは人間です。猫は絶対に言ってませんよ😢普通に入れ物に砂を敷いて、用を済ませた後は綺麗(オシッコした部分の砂を捨てる、ウンチを捨てる)にしてあげる。これだけです。普通のことです。

愛猫ちゃんを愛する気持ちは分かりますが、トイレに関しては何か空回りしてる気がします...。膀胱炎が再発するのもわかります。そもそもは不自然なシステムトイレをやめてもらいたいのです。砂の使い回しをやめてもらいたいのです。オシッコした後の砂は絶対取り除いて下さい。始めのコメントに書いた通りです。取り除いた砂を集めて洗って再利用するのはいいかもしれません。ですが、オシッコした後の砂は何度もしつこく言いますが、取り除いて下さい。シートは何もシステムトイレ用の厚くて、お値段も高いやつでなく、100-200枚入って1000円位の薄いやつでバンバン取り替えればいいと思います。それを飼い主さんに伝えると、犬用でいいんだ、とか、あれでもいいんだ、と言われる方がいますが.....😅あと、トイレを設置してある場所を高くしているのも不自然かな？と。上るの面倒かも？歳をとったらやめた方がいいと思います。砂が周りに飛び散るのを嫌がる飼い主さんもいますが、そんな事いったら猫飼えませんよ💦砂をゴミに出せないならトイレに流すタイプ(紙)もありますよ。色々言って気を悪くしたかもしれませんが、猫が粗相するのはおかしいです。マーキングではないですよ。トイレを気に入ってません。飼い主に伝えてます。その日々のストレスが病気になります。
一度シンプルに、システムトイレをやめて、入れ物に砂を入れて、オシッコの都度、ちゃんと汚れた砂は取り除く、でやってみて下さい。システムトイレ洗うの面倒で嫌だったっていう飼い主さん結構います😅システムトイレが無くなったら、猫の病気の半分が無くなるのではないか？って思う程です。膀胱炎、膀胱結石の猫ちゃんの殆どがシステムトイレです。長くなってごめんなさい。ペットを病気にさせてるのは飼い主、守れるのも飼い主さんですよ🙋
