They are a commercial success because they don't chase it. They follow their muse, perfect their art, and focus on making music that makes THEM happy. This gives it an authenticity that can't be faked, and we fans, the LIFAD and the RammFam, can feel it. This is why we adore them!

This past October. I'd heard about them off and on over the years (always because of some controversy, of course). Combine that with a lack of exposure in my local area and the inability to afford cable for years, I just didn't SEE them. I finally came across a reaction video in October that sparked my interest and it was "off to the races"! I've come to really appreciate their music style, the witty lyrics (often tongue in cheek, but always the truth!). I enjoy them so much that I took the time and chance to see them live over in Spain. Wish I could have been closer to the stage, but I had a good view of everything where I was. Except Paul. He was behind (in front of?) the Engel stage, so I saw him sporadically.
I could probably write an essay on how I appreciate them, but I'll keep this short. Yeah, guess it's too late for that.....!
