Yes, "I enjoy the pain immensely" is not what Flake said, but "I endure the pain gladly" (for the sake of art). About the case, Meiwes (the perp) didn't kill the guy first and then ate his part, but they both tried to eat it, even the victim (which is refleted in the song's lyrics: "ich esse weiter unter Krämpfen" - "I continue eating while convulsing"). Meiwes only killed the victim four hours later, by stabbing him in a bath tub (he recorded the whole thing on camera). There's a Wikipedia article about the story: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armin_Meiwes
25:06 It's a pity that no footage of Schneider leading the band on a leash made it into the Making Of. I would have liked to have seen a few more reactions from passers-by.
❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥 17:58 Richard was the GDR youth wrestling champion (Greco-Roman wrestling and not American wrestling). 20:53 The translation is therefore also wrong here, because it should be "wrestled" and not "struggled".
"e" alone is pronounced in german more like an "a" in english, but if it get's an "i" added it's pronounced like "i" in english regardless what's at the end of the word. You can see them together like one letter if you will :D
Zoran has actually directed several of Rammstein's videos.... before he did Lindeman's.... he has directed at least one or two of Emigrate's (Richard's band) videos, as well
P.S.: that's interesting what you say about German vs English spelling and pronunciation, with the vowels at the end of words, because that's how it was, for some words, in the English of Tudor times, for instance. It was "kinge", "queene", "booke", "olde", etc. In order to learn another language, the best is to ignore how it's written, at first; just focus on the sounds you hear and repeat them, you can learn reading and writing later. For "Mein Teil", you pronounce it right, probably because you heard the song many times, and yes, in English, these sounds would be spelled "mine tile"; changing the place of the "e" works in this case, but it wouldn't necessarily work every time. I know that in France, many kids have learned German in school because of Rammstein. Maybe you could learn, too. 🙂
There's a full interview with Armin Meives that's about 2 hours long where he tells the whole story himself if you're interested. "Armin Meiwes / Die Geschichte dahinter / Kannibale von Rotenburg" with english sub.
Just to let you know, there's an alternative version of the official video also available in RUclips. Not sure if it's been mentioned before. It's interesting but true what you might find out about yourself if you switch off some control mechanisms as Ollie states. Zoran is perhaps one of a kind where music videos are concerned😂. As for the eating of the ahem, member, it's the ultimate homo-erotic consumption of the other person and one's self at the same time. Or at least it would have been if it hadn't been too tough to eat. Still, the dog had a nice snack!! Great reaction as always from you fella.

Frau Schneider is such an icon.
"I enjoy the pain immensely" is actually a mistranslation. It's more along the lines of "I gladly shoulder the pain (for the sake of the video)".
Yes 👍👍👍
Till says he just acts out Zoran's ideas. "Important is that my mother does not see this". 😄😄😄
😂 one of the most craziest story ever and one of the craziest Rammstein videos ever 🤘

00:41 it is actually the other way around... the one who killed and ate the other (he ate parts of himself as well) put the add in the paper... 😅
