Nice. I’ve got a Kawasaki 600 can on an old Mitsubishi minicab. It sounds good, liberated a few horses and is not too loud. Similar set up on the Hijet using an aftermarket muffler made it louder but it drives worse so am rethinking that one.
Nice work, but I like quiet vehicles. My Hijet was just confirmed to ship from Yokohama. It should set sail on 29OCT22 and arrive 5DEC22. My mods are more inclined toward zombie apocalypse SHTF bug out vehicle... that I'll use for trips to the grocery store and post office, and to take my 91 year old mom to the park to feed the ducks and geese. :-)
What did you do about those two pipes before the cat and what about the cat? I have the same Hijet exhaust has holes rusted through trying to figure out what to do.
I no longer have any of the stock piping, those holes are air pre-heaters to help warm the engine up faster, they don't enter the exhaust stream, just go around it. Sorry for the late reply!

Heh nice, I think a db killer insert will make this setup perfect, I'll get to it eventually, maybe.

Top job
Nice! I don't know if I missed it but what did you do about the cat temp sensor?
I zip tied the wire up out of the way and just pulled that bulb out of the dash, it doesn't affect anything else.

What is the diameter of the pipe ?
Sorry for the delay, I've been recovering from an accident. The exhaust pipe was 1 1/2" expanding to a 2" for the muffler tip.
