I just saw this video. I feel so proud of my 16570 after it. Quite get Archies nostalgia. I would be also quite sad if I had to sell it (might always be possible) unfortunately
I just got my first luxury watch. GMT Master 2 116710ln. it is the perfect watch. I have very small wrists and I can wear it with ANYTHING. it is the perfect watch.
If James Bomd had worn the Explorer instead of the sub. It would be untouchable today, fuckers! It's simply a very nice watch. Even better in black but.
The Explorer 11 42mm is the way to go if your fed up seeing the sub on every other rolex wearer, Daytona is to small nowdays for the money imo. ps Expolrer 11 it is said was worn by steve mcqueen but most people say no but there is ment to be a raire photo of him starting a motor race with flag at daytona with one on ,has anyone seen this photo.
Archie I too prefer the explorer 16570 over the subs the low key beauty of the dial is so appealing, but you brought too much attention to it now that I want one it's gone up slightly damn you
YEP! HAHAHAHAHA. ROLEX EXPLORER 2 POLAR. Great deal. I actually prefer the white dial to the black dial! SERIOUSLY! :) Yeah its a good deal and great wristwatch. Bargain. Used. 40mm at least.
Cause it's the cheapest sports watch in the line. That's why Arch love's it. When I was shopping for my very first Rolex in 2006, I was looking at the Coke GMT and a Sub. I had considered the EXP2, but dropped it from my choices when I found out it was a fixed bezel. I was looking at the EXP2 with the black dial back then. I didn't like the white dial. 2 days before I went to buy I read a review on the Rolex SD and was hooked. I bought that as my first Rolex. Why did I buy a SD? It was the heaviest and biggest cased watch in the line up. To me it had the feel and heft of what a real Rolex should be like. I had that for 2 years when in 2008 they came out with the Deepsea. I just had to have it. It was even bigger, heavier, had the ceramic bezel, glide lock clasp, the replaced the metal bezel stopper with bearings so the clicking sound was sweet and the movement smoother. I dumped that SD for $1000 less than what I bought it for brand new in early 2009 and within 4 days of selling it, I purchased the Deepsea.
I like the Explorer II more than the Submariner. I think it's better looking, especially the one with the black dial. The Sub is great also, but becoming a bit too common along the hipsters (and their grandmothers).
But what I mean is that didn't he speak about the Rolex Explorer II last week? And the week before that? And the week before that? Why doesn't he continue the Baselworld series?
This man is a savant - March 2021 - possible time traveler? Prices are rocketing.
He's been around a long-time. When you've been in something long enough you can kind of predict the peak and valleys.
Originally felt it was a budget Rolex. Well I was wrong. This is a killer watch
It really is . Pictures don’t do this justice . On the wrist it’s a stunning sports watch that looks great in all different kinds of lighting
All this reminiscing - bloody hell the mid-life crisis is going to be bad!

What better than a combo meal with double fries
The EX 2 is my second favorite Rolex SS sports model .
I really like the polar ceramic they thought would release at Basel.
Yea true. I think it looks cleaner than the steel, imo. guess you would adjust 24hr instead of rotating bezel
It’s getting hot now. Waitlists everywhere. Gorgeous watch, especially the new model.
I'm with you, love the explorer 2.
I have a black one. Nice watch. I think you'll find they'll become very popular in the future.
What was your user name on Turf? We're still going.

I like this 40mm size and version wayyyyy better than the frisbee 42mm size
What about a Rolex Oyster perpetual date just?.. some really nice models
Does anyone else have a problem with the greenish lume in a luxury watch?
Personally always felt lume cheapens the look of a watch. Makes it look plasticky.
I love the Explorer II , even more than the Submariner.
Indeed, A Great Watch!
Love your channel!

I saw a Mickey Mouse watch whilst at the Post Office today. That is more in your price range.
Dids archie even know why its called an explorer?
Somebody got you an Explorer in 1990? Hard currency back then

I bet he thought it was a piece of scat 2 decades ago but won't admit it.

Didn't you make this video already? You know, repeatedly posting repeats of past vids will drive away your audience...

The Explorer 2 is a expensive shitter.
Explorer II looks like a Swatch watch I had when I was a kid. Looks like some cheap chinese cunter of a watch.
