A great person who has been the man of 1,000 voices. In 1961 he almost died from a car accident with no ID on him. Doctors and nurses didn't know who's actually this unknown person was actually. Until they actually learn who he was actually by using certain cartoon characters voices and he responded to those cartoon characters.
Mel Blanc was the voice of Bugs Bunny Porky Pig Elmer Fudd Sylvester the Cat Tweety Bird Barney Rubble and many other classic Looney Tunes characters. He brought us many laughs.He truly was a legend

The only cartoon those two characters appeared in together was "The Scarlett Pumpernickel" , I later saw his contract for the "Jetsons " movie and he was paid $6,500 for his last appearance as Cosmo Spacely.
Paul Julian provided the 'beep, beep' of the Roadrunner, not Mel Blanc, although Mel DID do the voice of Wile E Coyote whenever he was paired with Bugs Bunny.
Ironically, Mel Blanc passed away on his successor Jeff Bergman's 29th birthday. Nowadays, Jeff, along with Billy West, Bob Bergen, Bill Farmer, Jim Cummings, Frank Welker, Dee Bradley Baker and others carry on Mel's work with the Looney Tunes!!!
It would've sounded better if Mel Blanc voiced Dinky in The Fox and the Hound (1981), Creeper in The Black Cauldron (1985), Winston in Oliver & Company (1988), Petrie in The Land Before Time (1988), the Seahorse Herald in The Little Mermaid (1989), and Killer in All Dogs Go to Heaven (1989)!

Well you have to be born with that kind of talent but practice makes perfect but voice acting takes a whole lot of skill, training, and experience. But I do know that you definitely have to do a lot of Table Reading before the recording sessions with a bunch of other voice actors and voice actresses but one important thing to know about recording an episode of a cartoon that it's not been animated yet. But here's a secret they do the voice first and when the cartoon is done they draw it to the voice most people don't know that.

Blanc did not die from complications from heart disease and emphysema, he died from a stroke which was caused by a broken femur from when he slid out of a hospital bed when a nurse forgot to put up the bed rails. This only occured 48 hours before he died.
His credits would take an hour just to read. By 1989 most people had forgotten about Jack Benny. Mel was always more famous for his cartoon voices than anything else though I always did like his Prof. La Blanc. When you've only a minute to tell a story, you have no choice but to leave out a few details.
Died of heart disease? I read his bedrails we're not put up and he fell out of bed and that's what killed him. Can't believe anything anyone says anymore.
