Oleg to me, has always been one of the baddest dudes, ever. Even in the fights where he is getting pounded and he face is all messed up, he looks like he does not feel any pain what so ever. Scary.
I thought maybe Tank was being bitter when I watched one if his interviews when he was talking about this fight being fixed. Now I see he was telling it like it is. Mad dog is a Thai boxer but he's gonna shoot on this submission expert who happens to be his sparring partner. Bull shit.
I always hated Tank and his terrible attitude back in the day but while watching that interview with him I started to respect him more and then he made this accusation and thought he was still the same jerk he was back then. So I had to see this fight again myself and I'll be damned he is 100% right. I didn't think too much of it when I saw it back when it aired but it's clear as day now that Tank gave us the explanation on what happened.
They mentioned during the UFC 6 broadcast that Oleg and Macias are friends, and Guy Mezger (the other alternate) was also tight with both of them (and cornering Taktarov that night lol). I love Oleg, but a work is a work. In the post-fighr interview, Oleg is ashamed.
Everyone knows that Macias threw this fight and let his stronger team Nate go to the finals. We all know it was a give me fight for Oleg but only Oleg didn't know they were going to give him the fight like that. You can see the look of disgust in his face and the way he is starrng down the other guy like "did you honestly just let me won like that without even trying?". But what u can't figure out is why the fuck is he so out of breath for those 7 second with of fight? Even if the guy hasn't thrown the fight and even if this was a legit submission, you cannot get that winded after 8 seconds. 😂😂😂😂 You get more winded from walking to the octagon than you would from that fight. Dude can't even breath during the interview. Is his cardio that fucking bad? It can't be that horrible cuz he had had fights that have gone the distance. I don't get it.
It was fought in Casper, Wyoming, which has an elevation of over 5000ft. I remember watching the Shamrock/Severn Superfight (which was the co-main for this event) and they mentioned the elevation being a notable factor in that bout (and Ken was out of breath during his post fight interview). That said, it still seems like Oleg still had shit cardio.
It seems like Oleg didn’t know Macias was gonna throw the fight. He just stared at him after he tapped like “WTF was that?” He knew it was wrong, but he had to go along with it in the end
@@tommybeetem5771 it was fixed. That dude was muay Thai fighter. And they trained together. So he'd know Oleg is a better grappler. I'm sorry but if u train with a guy I should be able to figure out how to last longer than 20 seconds with him. 100% fixed fight.

Fuckin monster
its because of adrenaline he didn't feel pain
one of my favorites, never tapped out.
He also became a pretty decent actor; dude is so multitalented.
He’s the scariest of all. You can say others are as badass but not more than Oleg. No fear shown
So the Muay Thai fighter immediately shoots 🤔
Exactly.
The fight was obviously fixed
the presentation lasted longer than the fight hahaha....2:14 taktarov regretting humiliating him
I think he was humiliated himself for being a part of a worked/fixed finish.
Кто посмотрел бой, после слов Тактарова, что этот бой был договорным??? 😁😁😁
Я 😂

Jim Brown wasn't to happy bout this. He holds his tongue . But he wanted to tell it like it is.
Tank got screwed: he faced the two biggest guys in the tournament, while Oleg got a freebie against his 190lb sparring partner who laid down for him.
Yep, Tank must of been so annoyed
Same happened to him with Don Frye.
Smith and Macias were both paid off. Cmon

Sparring partner and they both had same manager. Tank should’ve caved in Anthony’s face
Tired as F for 8 seconds lol
Oleg trained me in Sambo,Tripp Judo school in Michigan
still the fastest sub in UFC history
This fight was fixed.

Tank should’ve caved in Anthony’s face for this
These were the days! The bear is such a fuckin badass
This fight was fixed, but Oleg wasn’t in on the whole deal. Hence the reason why he gave the Mad Dog a disgusted look.
You’re wrong. Dude talked mad shit about Oleg before the fight. Mad shit. Oleg said nothing and let his fighting do the talking.
@@legendofzelda2324 they had same manager. There wasnt any beef between them. They just wanted Taktarov to fresh for finals vs Tank
For those of u that don't think this was fixed just go back and listen to the commentary.
Who checks after affair with Nurmangedov
Tank said oleg and this dude were friends and Anthony threw the fight
The fight was short but not so sweet
That fight was totally fixed.
I also trained Judo with super strong this dont surprised me at all😅
Clearly a fixed fight, everyone knew it. They wanted to keep oleg fresh for when he fought Tank Abbot

Macias threw the fight, because he knew he could get hurt
@Andre McGoo Yea all the above. Oleg was really annoyed. You can tell.

Que bruto este Macias, debia pelear de pie, otra perdida mas en la ufc
Tank’s UFC legacy is completely ruined due to 2 fixed fights… he very easily could be UFC 6 AND UU96 champ.
