I never comment on the RUclips videos.....but I just "walked" 2 miles since my cancer treatments 2 years ago.....I wasn't nearly as graceful as these ladies...but I kept moving! I made it! I'm at my heaviest now without my thyroid and the leftover pain in my back from the treatments has made me depressed and at 230lbs.....I'm desperate to lose weight. Thank you for the constant encouragement.....I actually made it to 2 miles! I'm even looking forward to trying it again tomorrow! Thank you x a million!

I was a dancer for 9 years. I'm 35 now and need to loose weight for a major back surgery I'm doing the 2 mile 22 day challenge and so thankful that you did a cardio workout I could stand through because while I'm always in pain, getting on the ground is HARD. The loves were simple and something I could do with my kids in the room. I love how your ladies are of all shapes and sizes. It makes it attainable and realistic. Thank you!

I am turning 70 in just over a month. In the past 5 1/2 years, I've been thru 2 total knee replacement surgeries, a brok3n shoulder and the loss of the best 4-legged friend ever. I've been on Noom all summer eating healthy and losing weight, and now I must add exercise. I still have pain in my knees, but I have to push through and grt it done! Thanks for this. I'm trying it tomorrow.

I was feeling grouchy this morning but glad I did this. It was fun and easy to follow. A great way to get into (or back into) exercising. I did about 2400 steps, so not sure if that was actually 2 miles. But it was still 2400 steps I wouldn't have done otherwise. Happy New Year!

It does change your mood. It might be tough getting started/motivated but once you do it you feel so much better.
Kelly I am the same. I get around 2600 steps as well. For me that is just hitting a mile. But nonetheless still a great workout!

Girl when I first went to Zumba and started this fitness instructing journey, a salsa felt awkward and a little sleazy because I was so uncomfortable with my femininity. The more I did it, the more confident I became. Then it felt freeing and sexy instead of awkward and sleazy and I never looked back. I just want all women to feel that freedom. There’s nothing like it in the world. Get it, girl. ❤️
I am 79 and just had to have a pacemaker put in. I am on a cardiac diet and needed to start some sort of exercise. I found this video and love it. I can only do the first 2 steps, but keep moving through the whole 20 minutes. I do it once or twice a day to try to increase my steps.

Awesome workout. Moves matched the songs perfectly. Love the balance of different dancers, age, body type, advanced, low impact, etc. this 60 year old has been taking classes on and off for 40 years, and this was one of the best. I did it on my lunch break at work with the door locked, lol. Always have sneakers, a shirt change and deodorant at work!

My doctor told me that I really need to get in cardio daily and make it a real lifestyle change. I decided that it has to be fun and not necessarily mean going to the gym everyday and I found this stream. Omg, I got through the 20 minute 2 mile walk dance. I’m sweating and I’m happy! Been doing Jamie's workouts daily since December 27th, 2020. I don't know how I started following this channel, but it is one of the best things that has happened in my life. January 2021 was one of the darkest times in my life, but no matter how I felt, I made myself throw on shorts and dance in my living room every day. In the last year, my relationship with my body has transformed, the ignition workouts are like going to therapy for me, I feel more confident dancing, and I love my legs for the first time in my life.
I subscribed to the membership site last summer, and the volume of content on there is incredible, with classes unavailable on RUclips.

This is the best routine I have found on RUclips. It's easy but really works you out. I did it twice, and let me tell you, I sweated like I would have if I had taken my regular dance class at the gym! Love, love, love this!

I only got credit for 1.32 miles on the Nike app, but that's ok. Very nice low impact workout when you only have 20 minutes. This is a saver for sure.

Do you sell workout dvds
This is a fun exercise but I have 2 issues with it. It’s frustrating when the ads play in the middle of the workout. And what exactly are you using to measure miles? There’s no way y’all hit a mile without 8 minutes. I can’t even run a mile in 8 min let alone dance a mile in 8 min. My watch said I hit 1 mile at the end of the workout which is still pretty good for a 20 min exercise.

These types of videos provide a prototypical form of "Leslie mile", but in my Fitbit free existence, I rely on other types of metrics. Perceived rate of exertion, patterns over time, etc.

Edit: OMG - it was FUN!! The instructor and people, the music, the different exercises and moves - the best EVER!! I had to make some modifications because I’m super out of shape and just got started except using again on January 1st, but I did the entire thing and my Apple Watch said I burned more calories on this workout than any other I’ve done this month. It's that my body can't keep this up for 20 minutes otherwise I would have done it. At 10 minutes I had to give up, but I will keep going until I reach 20 minutes.

This was fun. But no way was it 2 miles. I kept up with it the whole time and it was less than 2000 steps.
Steps are different for each person and we measured using an Apple Watch. On Sunday, we did a filming and two girls were wearing watches and one said 8 miles and the other said 12. There is really no way to be accurate across the board for every person and every device. I’m glad you had fun!

I just did this workout and wanted to say thank you. I don’t normally workout so this is completely new for me. I needed something to help introduce me to this. I appreciate your encouragement and honestly fought crying a couple of times because when I wanted to give up, I had you in my corner to cheer me on and remind me that I can do things that might be easier on my body.
