Yes I got one yesterday and just now and I reported it
I also just received a message
I got a reply to a comment I made that you wanted to have a discussion with me. I don’t do IG. Was that not you, Brandon? I found it quite odd. GrannyE
I just got one now
Thank you for sharing your day with all of us. Dixie will do well with all of your family watching over her she is a loved family dog.
“so her leg will still grow back?” the sweetest most innocent comment… melted my heart❤
This literally brought a tear to my eye.
Grow back because they amputating the leg which means chopping the bone and everything else that makes the leg grow off
Soo precious
I HAVE A FEELING DIXIE IS GOING TO SURPRISE EVERYONE. SHE WILL SHOW US JUST WHAT KIND OF DOG SHE IS. SHE IS GOING TO HEAL FASTERS THAN OTHER ANIMALS DO BECAUSE SHE IS GOING TO HAVE THE BEST CARE AND LOVE FROM THE WHOLE FAMILY.
Yes yes yes I agree
You know it❤❤
I glad you are keeping two puppies. You probably should always have Dixie with another guardian dog because she will still want to be a guard dog and she can’t defend herself if she goes after a predator.
She’s going to show us just what a great guardian dog she is
Another great video love yall 💖 💖💖💖 so so glad Dixie was able too be saved not put down I'm so so happyhappy glad for all yall don't blame yourself you were going on what you were told there at that vets prayer for a speedy recovery for Dixie she still be a great family pet too yall she excited too see yall there and see her puppies toohave a wonderful weekend take care & God bless yall
I do believe she fought with coyotes. She made it back to farm cause of her puppies and the love you guys share with her. Your dog your decision but in my heart you did the right thing for her. She just wagged her tail so much trust she had in you. A dog's love you can't buy it's given with love.
I’m wondering d they have gators around them?
How did she loss it
@Huntingandgolf bad break. The leg couldnt be saved
@@judgepage6605 well that doesnt answer anything... ok bad break ya from what ? How did it break ???
@jasminepetal3972 did you watch the video? They Literally said they didn't know what happened. It was overnight, while they were sleeping.
Awesome 👍 choice 💞❣️ wishing you luck 🤞
The loss of a leg won’t stop who she is, she will be a guardian dog till she dies.
Hats off to the veterinarian that did Dixie's surgery. 🎉
Amen to that! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Amen again!!!
Plan to keep 2 of her pups as aides to her. Pairs do better together. Plan on spaying Dixie.
Cover the kennel so she is OK. Put stall mats in the kennel. Keep her and pup set up.
What caused the injury in the first place?? ❤❤❤
Amen
Hey the loss of her leg doesn't means she can't bark or loss her senses. Can't wait for her to show you what she can do. Love and blessings to you.
Yes she will definitely alert to predators but in no way could she fight off anything.
She’s going to show us
Yes, they already have another 3 legged LGD. She might really want to get back to work.
@@vgil1278 I seen Carly running in the background here and there and she actually just runnin on 3 legs. She just holds up the one with the bad foot and goes. Dixie gonna be the same way. Lots of 3 leg dogs out there do just fine.❤️😃
Where did anyone think that would happen? Amputation doesn’t mean she can’t live a normal life
Praise God!!
Who else is crying when they got to see Dixie and she cried. 😢 ❤
I cried more when I saw the excitement from Brandon when they came out of the vets
Dixie needs something to lay on.
Glad she wasn't put down so fast.❤
yes i was crying it was to much for me
I cried through whole video especially when the kids were saying goodbye.
could not stop them from coming
You can also give that to Dixie, the puppy food will give her extra vitamins and calcium to replenish her body.
That's great advice!! ❤
Lots of animal fats ,lard and dripping I've seen with my own eyes bring a 18 yr old dog back to life who was getting pts that day, he was nable to walk, see and sitting in his own urine and feces, 2 weeks rest and food later and he's running round the farm like an pup, blind pup still but has a full life n is currently 20 or 21!
I can tell Dixie is a very good dog because threw it all, her tail was wagging. She is a very strong girl.❤
I totally agree with both of your statements!! It's so easy to see & I just started watching these videos today. She just seems like such a strong, motivated, super sweet & loving pup. 💕🐾💕
Even when one of the girls was crying, Dixie was still there trying to comfort her. She looked like she had trust in whatever decision they would make.
I’m so thankful that you saved Dixie. She needs to care for her puppies. That will give her a reason to fight for healing. Thank you.
Perhaps she’ll want to nurse them but Dixie may need to just know they’re ok then spend time healing. Nursing is an energy & nutrient drain on the Mom that Dixie can ill afford right now. Mama & Papa Eddy will decide what’s best & go from there.
Can you bring the pups to her?
@@misst1586 they already did.
Dixie has them all with her in with the goat Moms & babies. She’s happy.
From Randy in Chattanooga, TN: I'm rejoicing in the fact that Dixie missed the bus to "Doggy Heaven". God bless y'all.
‘Missed the bus to “Doggy Heaven.”’
I absolutely adore that phrase and will be for-sure adding it to my regular vocabulary.
I’m from Chattanooga too! Hey Randy! 🥰
A tripod dog will still be able to protect your animals, once she gets used to it, nothing will stop her.. so glad you didn’t give up on her, she obviously loves her big family
I just discovered this channel. I love ur farm and all of ur animals !!!!! I grew up on a small farm…..with goats, horses, chickens, sheep, ducks, and cats. What a beautiful way to raise children. I’m a loyal, faithful follower now. Thank you sooooo much for making the decision to save Dixie. Dogs adapt extremely well to losing a limb. She will be just fine. Please do not beat yourself w for considering putting her down……that is a VERY difficult situation to be in, with a lot of conflicting emotions running through your head and heart. I think everyone would have considered it briefly. The important thing is that you chose to keep her alive. She will heal and live a long, good, happy, fulfilling life. Much love to you all ❤
I adopted a rescued husky mix who had lost his right front leg. He adapted to being 3 legged with no trouble. He could even swim! He swam in a circle but he was swimming.
That has to be one of the most precious things I’ve ever heard. ❤
Thank you Brandon, you are a good man. Dixi has proven to be a hero, and like in the military, our hero’s deserve honor. And we leave no man or woman behind. This goes for our animals as well. She has proven her self, and deserves every chance at life. Thank you, for making the right decision. She deserves to now live her best life. Love and prayers.
Agree 100%.
Here's something I've always said about the homeless, neglected, abused and unwanted animals that came into the Rescues that I worked with. They're spirit and body may be a bit bruised but they're not completely broken, they're still breathing.
"Dixie was bruised but not broken".
Animals are extremely adaptable when it comes to losing a limb. She will be just fine. GET BETTER SOON DIXIE !!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Oh thank the Lord! I’m so glad Dixie can come back to her puppies and your family. God is so good!
You should see the smile on my face and tears in my eyes! Dixie deserves all the love everyone is giving her...she is a HERO!
Dixie deserves all the treats, belly rubs and house privileges🙏
No matter how much she goes through, she is always wagging her tail.
I’m glad she’s ok and omg those puppies are so adorable
Brandon don’t beat yourself up. You did what you felt needed to be done. You were frantic and not thinking right. Until you calmed down you knew the right thing to do. Dixie looks so good the Doctor did a great job. Praying for a good recovery for Dixie. God Bless.🙏🙏
Oh my goodness. How exciting to see Dixie up and walking. To think we were saying goodbye. Now we are watching her heal. She is a miracle.
Isn't amazing howuch you can love a pet? This says it all about the quality of people you are. God Bless your family and pets.
I watched Stephanie's channel to yesterday. I have to say "OH MY WORD!!!! THE SURGEON DID AN AMAZING JOB!!!!!. DIXIE LOOKED SO GOOD. SHE WAS HAPPY TO SEE HER BABIES AWWWWW😅❤ AND THEY WERE ESTATIC TO SEE HER 🐶🐶🐶🐶❤️. I had a call come in so i missed the later few minutes. I am reaching out now before i haved watch all of this. So i'n sure you willbe answering my questins. Iam so so happy the surgeon saved Dixie. 🎉🎉🎉. To the surgeon ❤❤❤.
Just found this channel a few minutes ago, your family and poor Dixie stole my heart. I just donated a few bucks to yall on PayPal, just wanted to help yall do what yall do.♡
Papa, you were doing what you thought was best. You were being practical which is normal in crisis. You were still trying to to see if there was another option. You didn’t give up. 😊❤😊
You are a very caring person and really take care of your animals and you have a lot of people praying for you and your family. Soooooooooo glad Dixie is alive and well. She is a fighter for life and do beautiful and brave. Thank you for saving her.
I cryed so hard when i saw dixie❤
Don’t beat yourself up. They are supposed to be the educated people. You were open minded to options that’s what counts. You love your family and all your animals. Take care and 1 day at a time. That’s all you can do!
Pet insurance has saved me so many times with accidents and sudden illnesses. It’s the only way to go nowadays. Praying for Dixie! 💕💕
IS IT ME THERES NO SOUND....the commercials work...lol😂
Precious Dixie......i'm so very glad that she is doing a lot better, and that she survived her traumatic surgery!!! Praying for a full and complete recovery!!!!! God. Bless You Dixie and The Eddy Family!!! Much Love And Prayers!
Put a tarp over the top just in case it rains or snows. Or if she just wants some shade. Praying for speedy recovery. God is good
Winn Dixie 😢she so happy tho I love her omg gotta follow
So glad Dixie pulled through the surgery. She will still be on alert, maybe even more so. Please give our thanks to Dr. Green. Country vets are often (in my opinion) better than the "big city" vets as they see more of a variety of animals with different injuries/health issues and understand country life
My heart is full. This is a miracle
THANK YOU!!! To the Dr.(veterinarian) and the clinic staff for everything they did for Dixie. ⚕️🏥 🚑 🐾🐕💕
God be with your family & Dixie. Children crying because they hurt is the worst. I''m 80 years old, and a puppy owner. Cry? I did like a baby just to see that Dixie was injured. Thank you so much to trying to save her live! Prayers for the whole time and process. 😢😢
Be amazed at the speed and ease of adaptation. Dogs bounce back from this like it never happened. She is gonna be just fine.
Especially when they have a good environment and care. One of my cats became a tripod, and she amazed me.
Please don’t think that your dog won’t be much of a guardian dog. I’m betting she will surprise you. Dogs do great on 3 legs. They adapt.
God is so good!! 🙏 I cried and cried when Dixie cried. I’m so glad she was able to be saved.
Hearing her moan like that hurts. But at least we can hear her. She will be back to herself in no time..💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏.
I can't hear you. Just hope Dixie keeps getting better 🙏🙏 🙏❤️❤ Keep up the faith.👍👍👍👍
It's wonderful to see Dixie back on the farm. It amazes me that a dog went through that kind of surgery and be able to walk on her three legs, wagging her tail. Thank you for giving Dixie, the hero of the Eddy Family Farm, another chance in life. I love you guys, your children and your animals. I will support your farm in whatever way that I can, especially in taking care of Dixie. She deserves all of our help and prayers for the rest of her life at the Eddy Family Farm. 💝💝💝
Brandon, You can get pet insurance, they are pretty reasonable and you can make monthly payments. Thank You for saving Dixie !!

So true. Good idea to get the pet insurance for your dogs very well worth it. Praying for you all. Praise God
What a blessing Dixie is back home with family and her puppies. God is great at making this situation work out. 🙏🏻🐾Amen
Super excited to see she is home and had happy Tears to see her walking and seen her babies again must have been a blessing for all and gives her something to live for.
Thank You for sharing the love of Dixie to live again with the love you all share for FAMILY.
God is good❤❤praying for your family
Thank you, Doctor green for everything you did for Dixie. What a blessing you are to this family and to us Viewers can't wait to see Dixie come home.
I am so sorry for what happened to Dixie and you are not a cry baby you are human that’s all. I know you love your animals and I know you care for them. I am glad that you decided to save her. And the kids get to keep there dog. She can do the same as Charley and get around on three legs dogs do adapt very well. Love you all xxxxxxx
Dixie will be fine. A year ago my dog (Abby) a doberman was attacked by 4-5 coyotes. She needed 37 stitches....2-3 sutures from puncture wounds thru out her body. As well as, Abby, needed total knee replacement surgery. My wife is a DVM and she treated Abby for the puncture wounds and fighting off infections. Which was treated first. About a month later. one of my wife's colleagues did the knee surgery. He's a DVM, orthopedist. Abby had to have 2 surgeries for the repair. All this time Abby, was on three legs..injury was the left rear leg. As time went on, Abby adjust so well, you wouldnt notice she was using only 3 legs. I should not Abby is still young and quite active. That was the challenge. Keeping her non-active to let the repair job heal. Was not easy.
Dixie will adjust too. Dogs are quite resilient animals. You'll all be pleasantly surprised.
Leighton and Addison were crying when they found out she was going to get a chance. THank you for trying your best for sweet Dixie.
Thank you Jesus. So happy I’m crying again now in joy
You should contact the man who does the show Wizard of Paws to see if he can do a prosthetic for Dixie and she might be able to still do the job she knows so well.
Love the ending, That Dixie is back home!!! God Bless!
Brandon we know you have lots of different shirts. You don’t need to apologize. You have gone through a lot. I know you all love your babies. People who nag about it? They can kick rocks love all of you critters included❤❤❤❤❤❤
I was so disheartened when I watched the video of you saying that you were going to put Dixie down. I just couldn't watch another video after that. BUT, today, I watched this one. It just shows you what GOD has planned for this beautiful Dixie. She was meant to be there and will be a blessing to everyone. GOD has everything planned out. I knew in my heart that there was a chose in the matter. Big City doctors see Dollar bills, not compassion for the animals they treat. You all were guided to the perfect Veterinarian. Who knew compassion. Blessing to her. GOD go with Dixie and her babies. Maybe next time follow that small still voice inside you. Decrement is the key. Everything has a right to live. ❤
So happy to see Dixie. Looking forward for her to show you what she can do on the farm. Sending much needed Hugs and Love ❤❤🥰
One of our dogs is tripawed and nothing slows her down.
Don’t feel guilty about the possibility of having to put her down. It’s normal to visit that idea to help you make the best decision.
What a beautiful girl! I bet she couldn’t wait to see her puppies.
I was torn over the whole thing with Dixie, it’s funny Dixie is not even my dog however I love her like she’s mine too😂 I am so happy that you decided to give her a Chance.😊
How wonderful to see Dixie back home with her family (both human and fur babies). She looks great! God is good and he has blessed her with a second chance. I'm sure she will do well with her recovery and will make a great tripod dog. God Bless!!
So happy Dixie's ok and back home. It's still good for mama to be around the pups to teach them how to be guardian dogs. I saw one of the pups run up to you Brandon, it was so cute. I noticed that she or he sat down when he got to you. That's a good training time. Say 'sit' when they sit on their own and praise them. Same thing for down. Four weeks is when I start training my pups and as soon as they have teeth, I tell them "No Bite' and take my hand away for a few seconds then try again. Their smart even at this age. God Bless you all!!!
I’m so glad she made it
As long as no infection.. she will be fine...... she looks great ....god bless. Dixie will surprise you she be out there in no time and guarding goats
My thoughts too
Tri pod doggies are so happy! Dogs are precious beyond belief and are so resilient
I think Dixie will be able to do more than you think around the farm. ❤❤❤
No matter what any1 says life is always better than death glad you stuck by that a lot of people are too weak themselves so they put down their pets when they could easily continue on living
I am so happy for Dixie. GOD requires forgiveness. So forgive yourself and don't beat yourself up anymore about decisions you made in the heat of the moment. You had time to think things out and made a good decision. Dixie will recover, because she is loved. She has you, your family and her babies to aid in her healing. At the end of the day all is well and GOD IS GOOD!
😌♥️🙏🏽
Good God knew what he was doing when he made Dog as pet and guard dog. Love never stops!!
Look at Dixie's tail wagging, she so happy! I'm so glad you gave her a chance! ❤️🙏❤️🌹😇
Hey, no matter what you did, it was the right decision.
I had a dog one time that front leg had to be amputated at shoulder. He did great! Could run and even go up barn steps. And could give hugs and kisses.
So happy to see Dixie! Many prayers are being said in Hawaii.
Papa Eddie looks like Hank Williams. What a lovely family living the good life on a lovely family farm.
So glad she back home with her puppies 👌🏽👍🏻🇬🇧🇬🇧
Brandon, don't beat yourself up. You were given information that would make anyone question what was best. Love and prayers to all.
God is good!! I’m so happy she didn’t have to be put down!!
Like everyone else, no sound. So happy for Dixie momma.
What a strong dog. Still wagging her tail. Hope she get well very soon
One day at a time. All we have is now. So glad you didn't put her down. Lots of life left in Dixie.
so thankful dixie is still here .
❤️🙏Thank you GOD
Thank you JESUS
Letting your Dixie may it back home 🙏❤️
My heart and my prayers are for you and your family, Dixie and her family
Dixies milk will come back in. Once the puppies stimulate her for milk. It may take 24 hours or so, but she can and will produce milk for her puppies. I'm just sad to see her not nursing her puppies and them not staying with her. I completely understand you're worried about her incision. I know you know what is best for Dixie. I'm so happy you made the right decision for her. You're a wonderful, caring family! God bless! ❤ ❤
Also following Doctors instructions.
But she's on antibiotics and pain meds... the meds can be dangerous for the pups too so another reason probably safer for them not to nurse
I'm so very happy for you all I've just hard I'm so please for you all ❤❤
I love how she is talking to you. My does talked to me like that. So much love..
Looks like she knew you were there..
You can tell this has been such an emotional thing for you and your family. God bless .
Brandon just remember...Ya Don't Know Until Ys Know...give yourself some grace ❤
Prayers go out to Dixie she was perfecting the farm and got the bad end of the stick your a hero dixie
