Thank you so much. I have seen batteries removed over the years, but never actually removed one until today (at almost 64 yrs old) after watching this video! Smooth as silk! And Yes I'm a woman! ❤
I loved the way you explained each step. I was confused just looking at where the battery was positioned and couldn't for the life of me, figure it out. Now I can go down and get the right tools before venturing my first DIY with my car. Thank again for not being techy with your video. 😊
Why would the engineers design putting the main computer on top of the battery? when you go to change the battery you can possibly damage the wiring, computer, or both is beyond my simple comprehension. Thank you for the video, very very helpful!
I love this guy, its like getting instructions from Gru :)

Best video of explanation of DIY battery removal to Equinox Vehicle I’ve seen so far!!! Thank you!❤️
No problem. I'm glad my video helped you out :)
Could they have made this any more complicated to remove a battery? Asinine!
I've had nissans, Hondas and Toyotas and I've never had issues with them. The equinox is a puzzle.

Buick- under the back seat
@@billclimie2867but it’s easy to mess with tho unlike these I have to look on RUclips to change a damn battery

You're most welcome. I agree it is really an odd position of the PCM and doesn't make too much sense
Why would GM make this so needlessly complicated!
More trips to the dealer.
What size is the screw that comes off b4 u get to the battery. The 1 between the 3 cords. I dropped mine.
Hi, it is a 10mm screw. Now the diameter is probably 3/16" but can't say for sure. You should be able to find a replacement in a hardware store
This was super helpful for me when replacing my battery! Thanks so much!
You're most welcome
