Southern California has many Banh Mi/Pho restaurants with drive-thru's. One that comes to mind is Banh Mi Che Cali (there are stores in multiple locations). Cheap food and they usually have very good deals on their Banh Mi's. Their Banh Mi's are usually around $6 with a daily "buy two get one free deal". They have different daily discounts (Wednesday's all of their beef Pho items are half priced and Thursdays their Banh Mi's are $4.25.
I like the idea of picking your own herbs. Traditional restaurants have to give you the herbs plate with everything. Most people don’t use all of them so either they salvage what customers didn’t use or just dump in the trash, which is a big waste.
JL, I lived in Tampa 25 years ago and they had Chinese and Vietnamese drive thru restaurants back then. Also, 45 years ago I lived in Dallas, Tx and they had self scanning checkout at Kroger's and drive thru banking, so down south they were doing some things that hadn't caught on up north. Not so Epic there. That's why it good to be able to travel, learn something new every time.
The soup looked delicious with all the ingredients in the bowl, you didn’t look disappointed,it did the job. The sandwich had all the ingredients flavor and texture and tastes delicious.
I love Pho. That one looks really delicious. It's nice to get a faster food version at times when you are on the go and not have to compromise good taste. There's sushi carts drop-ins right.
I think you’re eating northern style pho. They use thicker flat noodles. The broth has a clean taste and looks clear. Southern style pho tends to be sweeter and darker broth.
What a great idea! I wish that someone would open something like that in my area of NC. I've been wanting to try Pho but I'm not sure what to expect or what to order so this type of restaurant would be helpful for us rookies!👍🏼
There was a drive through one here in Vista, CA (San Diego) called pho guys. Full drive through service. They were doing really well until Covid happened.
Thanks for this video brother I appreciate your hard work!! I love me some pho anytime. Reminds me of Garden Grove Ca where there’s pho on every corner. Ca is definitely home of the PHO😎 stay safe out there brother🌴🤙🏽
I’ve honestly never seen Pho place in Florida…West Coast they are everywhere. The best spots I’ve had Vietnamese food are in Westminster, CA also in Seattle, WA.
Never tried this place because when they first opened they stole pictures from another well known local place and used those pictures for their menu and to advertise. Bad business practice if you ask me.
I noticed your using the dji mic. do you use the dji osmo 1 or 2 camera as well? can you list the camera equipment you use to make this awesome content. in the description below as well thank you in advance. keep up the great work.
If you ever in Charlotte NC check out Cilantro it’s a Pho spot that’s set up like a Chipotle also check out Plantbased Boss for the best Plantbased food in North Carolina
$16 for the special bowl of pho is actually very decent especiall for drive thru. Think about the cost of the containers they have to provide vs dining in.
1 star = you didnt pollute the broth with hoisin sauce. 1 star = you didnt pollute the broth with sriracha sauce. 1 star = you eat culandro and basil with pho. 1 star = you eat banh mi dipped in pho broth. You are a pho connoisseur!
I've never had Pho before, but the sweetness to the broth isn't my thing. Those pickled jalapeno's would help with that probably. So smart how they thought of this idea to make it like they do in fast food ❤
Pho looked good, sandwich sounded good and crisp! not Sesame Street in the background..I'm a full grown woman and that theme song is still a bop for me🤷🏿♀️😁
This pho noodle is more authentic. Should like this, size of of noodle. Too bad most Pho restaurants owners use thin pho noodle for either convenience or cheaper cost.
Next time you’re in “O”-town, you’ll have to try K BOB- Korean Street Food. It’s a brand new spot, near the Disney restaurants bubble. The owner is young and a local. Very unique place with doodle style artwork on the walls. Thanks for sharing!
Is it just me, or is the layout of the place used to be McDonald's? Starting from the Drive-Thru to the layout inside with the colors. Did the owners of the place buy out an old McD's building and made it into a Pho place?
Yo JL have you been to discovery cove? It's an all inclusive day resort that's like your own private tropical paradise that sea world owns. We did the dolphin swim there and it was awesome!
I’m a Chef this is not traditional Pho by any means however it’s fast food. I’d rather try this than eat Burger King & have a bloated sore stomach . Looks fresh and healthy I hope they make it in restaurant industry. Do they have franchises outside of Florida?
self service herbs and sprouts, straight fire. wish they did that out here
That's a cool place, nice self-serve items... Wish we had a place like that here in Pacific Northwest.
Their short rib pho is great!!
You know it’s good when they got that 3 crab fish sauce!
Yes! 3 crabs is the only way to go not any other numbers 🦀🦀🦀
That's a great business idea. Love that self serf veggies station.
Everything looked very good, especially that sandwich.
Man, that got me drooling. I haven't had pho in a long time.
Love your content 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Definitely the guy is lit
Youre a damn fool that you havent had pho for a long time, where have u been fool. Better get yourself some pho, its phoreal.

Banh Mi Saigon tastes way better and they have the buy two get one free.
Traveled here for Spring Break and followed JL's recommendation to eat here. It was a good experience and pho was one of the best in FL.
That's why we love you JL . You keep putting us on. Help this man get more viewers.

Everyone Hit the Thumbs Up Button!!!
Nah I'm good
I usually goto Pho88 or Anh Hong when I'm in Orlando. I feel you get better value and better quality when you go there
WHAT!!! We need this in NJ 😮
Yes!

I love it! Banh Mi dipped in pho broth soup...can't wait to try that!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Prices also have to do with the location, location, location. 👈🏾 When you work at a timeshare resort in this area. Remember these words.
Dang, now this is my kind of fast food drive through place. Hope they expand up North someday too !!!
showing me stuff about my city I never knew!! well I'll be
Such a great idea

That’s where we went when we in Florida ..theirs sandwiches on point
Always dope to have someone rate my towns food so I can check it out lmao
That is very standard pho prices all over the country now. Our pho is about $17 a bowl too. Banh mi is about $11. Price of inflation.
Dang, we were just down OBT earlier today. Will have to check it out. Thanks for sharing!
Love your content

My favorite spot on OBT in Orlando

I hope the business will be successful in that neighborhood
❤️❤️
Head over to east Orlando and try Mark's Jamaican Bar and Grill on University (near UCF).

Bro my wife and I love Vietnamese food! You need to come try Pho One at Metchun Nj!!!!
I've never had Pho before, but the sweetness to the broth isn't my thing. Those pickled jalapeno's would help with that probably. So smart how they thought of this idea to make it like they do in fast food ❤

K-BOB is awful lol
@@siptang81 I didn’t think so.
Dont see too many customers there. 😂
I have never tried PHO but i want to give it a try.
Where you from? A lot of places opening up, look it up on Google. Might have some spots in your town you hadn't paid much attention to...
Review some good breakfast spots down there?
Watching this & then accepting the fact that ALL the Pho restaurants around me are closed on Mondays 😢 lol
Visit king Express Chinese spot in Oakridge Orlando
Is it just me, or is the layout of the place used to be McDonald's? Starting from the Drive-Thru to the layout inside with the colors. Did the owners of the place buy out an old McD's building and made it into a Pho place?
Never had pho. Don't know where to get it in Hampton Virginia. Help!
Wilmington North Carolina
Looks like an old 🍔 King. Waiting for the Whopper Pho
who cares. are you like 12?
Absolutely @@73atman86
As usual you've delivered a great review 😊 I'm on my way to the kitchen now 😅😅
@netherfield2000 I read in the comments this used to be a Wendy's.
Would want the broth alone for health issues.
Damn.. need one these down my street. 😂
There's a Columbian restaurant across the street from Gator Land. I would definitely recommend.
On your way back home stop through North Carolina to on time
Those are called “fresh noodles”
Yo JL have you been to discovery cove? It's an all inclusive day resort that's like your own private tropical paradise that sea world owns. We did the dolphin swim there and it was awesome!
They need some good Khmer food down there
Pho real This is happening
it looks like it used to be a mcdonalds
I looked them up and their ratings are 4.8 I’ll have to check them out when I go to Orlando
Go to Banh Mi Cali in Pine hills Orlando. Arguably better Banh Mi than any in Philly or Jersey.
That's wassup 😋

@@73atman86 that might be a 13 year old, relax lol
Strike 1: pho from a drive through
Strike 2: pho in FL
Strike 3: adding expensive/fancy meats to pho
Hey man you don't dip Vietnamese Sand, Mi Banh with Hosin sauce! Will take away the original baguette with meats taste!😅
