    Thanks so much for this video- I know nothing about coffee machines and this was really helpful (buying for hubby). Can you just clarify, can you use without the filter part? We have a fridge filter and live in Australia so our water is quite clean so not sure if needed. Thanks 🙂

      Hi nicole, you do not have to use a water filter. Be sure to use the water test strip that comes with the machine. Enter results into the machine when you (or hubby) sets it up. Based on that the machine will let you know if/when it needs descaling. If your water is very low in minerals it could be many hundreds of brew cycles before descaling is required. If you decide to use a water filter the machine will never request or need descaling. Hope that helps!

      @@Wholelattelovepage Awesome! Thank you so so much for your help. I found one that was heavily discounted as display stock at my local store as it didn't come with the filter (it had been lost at some point) and I have had trouble sourcing the part in Australia so that is awesome news! A win for Christmas lol 🙂

    As always, a great review. I bought my Jura S8 back in December 2019 and used your review as part of my research. Yoir videos are always very thorough and you take the time to respond to comments. My daughter recently bought an eno8 because it was narrower and a couple of weeks ago I saw your original video so was pleasantly surprised to see you've just uploaded this one! You couldn't have timed it better! The only thing I'd say about the eno8 is that its quite expensive for what it is compared to the S8 for just a bit more money and that it only produces milk foam rather than both steamed and foam which means theres no real latte option. When i do a latte for example, I have it mainly steamed, finished with foamed milk which i can adjust on the milk attachment. I don't understand why jura couldn't have used the same attachment.

      Hey paul, thanks for the comment and sharing your experience and your daughter's. With changing of milk/coffee prep order on the latest ENA 8 there's a much different appearance and mouth feel when you compare milk first drinks like cappuccino to espresso first drinks like a flat white.

    Appreciate the video as I'm looking to purchase this product, however, can a Yeti Rambler fit under the spout? Looks like it would be tough to fit something under the spout for to-go coffees.

      @Wholelattelovepage  3 месяца назад

      Hi bb, Thanks for the question! Unfortunately I do not know the height of a Yeti Rambler. I do know the travel mug I use daily with the Jura ENA 8 is 5.75" tall and just fits under the spout with slight tilt in when placing. 5.75" is about as tall as you can go. Hope that helps!

    I am writing to inquire about a replacement for my Gaggia Anima Prestige espresso machine, which I purchased from Whole Latte Love. I am very pleased with the features of this machine and would like to find a similar replacement. Any recommendations? Thanks

      Hi p, See you asked similar question on the Accademia video. If you like the Anima Prestige you will love the Accademia. Build quality with full metal case and glass front panel is fantastic. Touchscreen control is the best available. Very intuitive, reactive and informative. And the espresso is fantastic - most control of any available machine.

    Which one brews overall better tasting espressos? The gaggia accademia or this one? I have the gaggia magenta and it doesn’t exactly brew great tasting espresso…

      Hi d, thanks for the question. It's very close. For my taste the Accademia has the potential to make a better tasting espresso for those willing to use Boost and fine tune controls like grind size and the flow control on the spouts. My favorite feature on the most recent Accademia is the Boost function. If you program a 2oz/60ml espresso and turn Boost on the machine uses 2 grind cycles to make the shot. What's unique is the first grind cycle makes a regular espresso comprising about 65% of the total volume. The second grind makes a shorter and sweeter ristretto for the remaining 35% of the volume. The combination of the espresso and ristretto produces a flavor I enjoy.

      I recommend the Gaggia academia 2022. I just have the machine for few days and its fantastic. Every drink tastes different!. I watched the videos of Marc hes good review made my decission to take a gaggia academia. You can make a 100% personalised drank. I was considering between jura J8 and seaconxelsis suprema, but gaggia academia full class italian quality is the best. Gaggia academi for sure!

      Hi dan, Thanks for the question. You can set grind coarser without the grinder running. If setting finer the grinder should be running to prevent damage.

    I wondered, at the point you selected 'Hot' as a temperature for your 'strong' espresso, if this sets the temperature of water for brewing espresso or refers to something different. The medium roast espresso I am using is pretty forgiving in many ways, but a true one degree difference in brew temperature on my machine makes a noticeable difference in taste (in this case 201F is the desired temp). Or did I miss something? Thanks!

      Hi b, thanks for the question. The hot setting refers to the water used to brew the espresso.

    Have you ever reviewed a product, thought it could be better and shared that?

    • @Wholelattelovepage
      @Wholelattelovepage  4 месяца назад

      Hi DK, Thanks for the question. We often share limitations or things to be aware of regarding products. We do a lot of pre-release testing and recommendation for European manufacturers. Many of our suggestions are implemented prior to public release. We also share feedback we receive directly from consumers and our machine techs for next version product improvements.

    • @DavidKnowles
      @DavidKnowles 4 месяца назад

      @@Wholelattelovepage thanks for your response.
      If I understand you correctly you don’t share critic publicly and only share it privately with the manufacturer?
      I’ve only seen a handful of your reviews and none of those pointed out any product limitations.
      These facts makes your reviews more promotional than objective and that wasn’t clear to me in the beginning.
      Your lack of neutrality devalues your reviews for me personally but I understand your business model now so good luck to you.
      All the best.

      Hi LH, With the cleaning tablets seen here: ruclips.net/video/1hagbZGMG7c/видео.htmlsi=5JRIfOGberNMuU5i&t=1032
