Spinnaker Resorts scam fraud warning. Do your due diligence. Look on their BBB page. Look at their online reviews. If you are unfortunate enough to sign a contract, look it over before the rescission period is up and CANCEL.

Never had this experience with Spinnaker. Been with them for almost thirty years. Never felt pressured.

Timeshares are a massive fraud and people would do so much better to simply rent the timeshare facility.It will be much cheaper and you will be given a rental prior to people who own. People who already own are already locked into paying these scammers. Sales people will invent anything to get you to buy. I am hoping something is done to curtail timeshares.

Hold up... your sales guy said there IS a buy back policy but you had to initial when signing that there is NO buy back policy. And THAT didn't cause you to stop and question things? Because the sales guy said you reminded him of his parents?
Geez. Some people will fall for anything.

Try to rent it for the cost of your maintenance fee. They almost had us But we walked away.

Why does "Spinnaker" make me think of spiders? I Envision the entire resort covered in cobwebs with ominous hissing echoing throughout the lifeless village. Hope you are able to get out of this albatross of a raw deal

We went through the same exact thing only at Ormund Beach, FL. where we had a TS at Wyndham and they promised us they would sell Wynd. They told us if we bought we would get our downpayment back because they would rent it out for the so called "Turkey Run auto race" inn Daytona. Well the race came and went and we never received our promised down payment. Called and never received a decent answer and it was impossible to even get to talk to someone. Now we have 2 TS'S!!!!!!!! Finally after numerous e mailings and letters to the Fl. DA we were able to get rid of it through a "Quick Deed" release but it was horrendous to finally get to this point. It was a nightmare and the salesman was nothing but a frad faced liar disguised as a shark that would bite every bit of energy, time, money; and would toss you around to wear you down. Well we didn't let up. I have all the correspondence to this day to prove my story!!!

Dude, I can get a better motel room that a time share. You should have thought about it, your at fault not them. We paid and had stayed there for at least 10 yrs without a membership. Costs $600 a week, and we never paid for maintenance fees.
