- Beware Orange Lake conmen lies. I hope this helps other people avoid being scammed like I was. I have outlined the tactics used by their sales staff. Please be aware of them before you enter a room with them. Don't take my word for it either, look them up on BBB to see their reviews and complaints. Please do your due diligence before you end up being taken for a ride.
I was taught as a Youngin.....STAY AWAY FROM SLIME-SHARES.
So many scummy 🐀scammers in the timeshare and vacation clubs trap. Complete rip-off. I hope this is becoming common knowledge.
I’ve never heard anything good about time shares.
My parents also got sucked in. After my mother passed, my father tired to sell, donate and then give his time share to anyone. No luck. OL would t communicate with him about any options. Finally, he wrote a letter ask OL to take back their time share for free. They quickly sent him a ton of paper work to give it back to OL, which he signed and returned promptly. He never heard another word, received a receipt or acceptance letter. He is now 87 and I worry that they are using his timeshares and will hit his estate with a huge maintenance fee bill when he passes.
For now he doesn’t receive any bills from them but I am leery. 😳

Why would you sign a contract in the first place you aren't forced to buy into a time share you should have just went to the presentations and not brought or sign anything they can t make you and enjoy your stay as a part for your participation
It’s a beautiful resort and they offer food and tickets and lots of perks to just listen to their sales guys for an hour which turns into 5 or 6. In our case we were exhausted from
Driving for 2 days to get there and it seemed harmless enough but they really hit hard and u less you are really strong, they really put on the pressure. By the time you cool down and realize what you have committed to, they are unavailable. At first the maintenance fees were $650 but then they jumped to 1250, then every year they would tack on another couple hundred in fees. It is a total scam.

It doesn't matter what location it is...it is JUST LEGAL SCAM AND IT IS DISGUSTING WHAT THEY DO :(((

You don't sign something and say it's unclear afterwards. It's a resort. You aren't forced to be there or go on vacation 🙄

go to a timeshare lawyer tell them fraud
God got you into this mess by not warning you.

I’ve haven’t had a problem with Orange Lake Resort if you’re nice and open to them they will treat you the same if you can’t keep a timeshare don’t get one period

Literally no scam we go there every year and own 4 villas or whatever. It is very good service.
You sound like you are hired by OLCC.. It is a scam. They used to be a great timeshare back in the late 80s early 90s. Ever since Holiday Inn bought them, they've gone down the shitter and treated their customers and members who have been there for decades like absolute trash.

We’ve owned for 5 years and love it. We’ve been able to travel to many different states and have plans for Europe next year. We weren’t forced. You can always say no. If you like to travel, like we do, it is well worth it.
