Are you looking to get out into nature? Hilton Head Island and the surrounding islands have an almost endless selection of parks and nature preserves. Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge spreads out over a whopping 4,000 acres, and you'll spot wildlife like rare shorebirds to armadillos. At Coligny Beach Park, you can rent a beach chair and lounge around on the sand or dip your toes in the clear, clean ocean. Or take the family to the Coastal Discovery Museum to learn about local flora and fauna.
When it comes to unique local culture, you also won’t be disappointed by Hilton Head. Daufuskie Island, only accessible by boat, is home to an array of famous artists and musicians-in fact, in fact, the island is included on the National Register of Historic Places because it’s an arts hub. You can learn about local Gullah culture at the Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park and The Gullah Museum (by appointment only).
If you prefer to shop until you drop, there are lots of things to do in Hilton Head. Harbour Town and Coligny Plaza boast an array of clothing boutiques, antique stores, jewelry shops, and fine dining options. And speaking of food and drink, why not take in the sunset with a cocktail in hand at Poseidon’s Rooftop Bar or sample locally brewed beer and spirits at the source at Burnt Church Distillery or Hilton Head Brewing Company.

@@Abena_Goddess87 It was nice. I had great weather and a good airbnb right on the water with walking distance to all the restaurants. It was relaxing, but not much to do at night.
@@arthurj9169 next time you visit us, make sure you meet a true local. There's plenty to do at night, but a lot of our night life is spread out. We put nature first here, so many establishments are spread out throughout our island. C'mon back, your second visit can be even more fulfilling! Explore a bit more, and you'll see we have a fantastic night life.....just as we have a plethora of fun things to do during the day!

Most plantations are private, so it's tough to show alot of the area and it's beauty. Now there's plenty of beauty to see on our wonderful island, so make sure you have a good bit of time to explore!
I live in Bluffton. They are beautiful parks and yes plenty of beauty there yes there is Myrtle Island Alljoy area there is right family park on the water where I walk every day and there is plenty of wonderful stuff because I live there and I know. So when I saw the businesses which are very nice I didn’t think they did it justice. Plus there are nooks and crannies down different roads with hidden little things. I did not see them on the Video I don’t think. But thank you anyway all videos are great have a good day bye!

This is our year round home, so like going anywhere on vacation........ respect the locals! 😎 (Locals are year round residents who've lived here a minimum of 10 years)
