    I used to watch you 7 or 8 years ago. I was learning the use of cloth pads. Then I moved to a big city, then university, life problems, adulthood and mental health issues. Of course I never forgot you. Stress has made my periods irregular for months now and I had to switch to cloth pads. And to learn their use RUclips gave me your videos again. This you is brilliant (you have always been brilliant). For some reason I'm nostalgic and proud. The baby in your arms makes me want to have one of mine. (I rarely get this feeling. I was so scared to motherhood because I thought I wasn't worthy). So beautiful ❤️.

    The best thing you can do is not be quiet when you're putting little sweetheart down to sleep. It's so much easier when you can teach your baby to sleep through noise. I made that mistake with my first baby, and my second until my health visitor showed me how to teach little ones to sleep through noise. My next three babies slept through their older siblings making a racket/hoovering/general large family noise.
    I've brought my five up on my own. Good for you, you're doing great 👍 👏

    I'm going to be a solo mom by choice at 45. I'm currenlty 28 and in college trying to improve my life. I'm in america, and I refuse to raise a child as a single mother under the proverty line. Your joy as a mother is keeping me motivating and inspired to become a mother someday!

    Omg congrats on the baby! I just wanted you to know you taught me everything about myself when I was growing up. And it felt so much more easy to grasp and relate to bc we were basically the same age. Thankyou for your passion, thankyou for the knowledge you spread. Yall are adorable and I hope you're doing well 😊

    Not to frighten, but I work with special needs kids and am very attuned to noticing these things : Has anyone mentioned that his left eye (at least in the video it's the left eye, I don't know if your camera mirrors) wanders fairly significantly to the inside? Might just be focusing on the camera lens or something, but it does seem to be going quite independently of the other which looks to have more control.
    Glad little boy is picking up weight and doing well though, hope your cruise was fun

    • @themagicalcupcakeunicorn5755
      @themagicalcupcakeunicorn5755 11 месяцев назад +2

      He might just be a lazy eye that he can control. I have one and now I wear glasses to keep my eyeball in place lol, but I don’t have disabilities of any sort. Although, she might want to look into it when he’s older.

    • @cominatrix
      @cominatrix 11 месяцев назад

      @@themagicalcupcakeunicorn5755 I wasn't implying he had a disability, just mentioning why I'm noticing but the quicker something like that gets seen the more likely it is to have good corrective results, that's all

      I have Duane Syndrome which is an eye condition that restricts movement. It does not usually need any treatment. I was diagnosed around 6 months old, Its just something that people are born with and it cant be cured. If Orin has something like this it will be obvious to a doctor and it usually is not something to worry too much about.

    You are doing amazing as a single mum.
    Just a tip teach him to sleep even in loud situations like the vacuum cleaning, talking etc it will really help you in the future with sleeping.
    Speaking from 25 years nannying experience I did this with the little ones I looked after and it completely changed everything for the parents when they slept better even in loud situations.

      I had 6 kids, and if they can sleep through noise, it certainly helps!! I am not a quiet person, dear in one ear, and tend to talk loudly, so off the bat my children just slept through noise.

    You probably already know this, but check your nipple/flange size again for the breast that doesn’t respond to the pump any more. And also check that all the part have been replaced. I was an exclusive pumper for a year and I had that problem before and I had to hand express after pumps. I replaced pump parts and it did help with emptying. Hope you find a solution so that you will respond to the pump again.

    Have you though about a vinyl film cover over the counter top to change the colour but keep costs low? Look at renter friendly diy’s they are often low cost and low maintenance in the grand scheme of things.

Since then I have lost my husband to cancer plus other bad things in my life which made me lose interest in everything. I hope you read this comment. Here is how to deal with your neighbor. Give him a gift card to a gaming type store. Tell him how cool his hobby is. Let him tell you about his current fav game. Then nicely ask if he can keep the noise down at a certain time. Maybe even let him know of times where he can be louder without disturbing your little one. I bet he would be happy to be considerate.

      Sometimes people aren’t responsive. I was super kind to my neighbour and gave her cookies and wrote a nice letter. She was ok for about a month then stopped responding to texts (I gave her my number) and was inconsiderate again. I hope her neighbour is responsive and kind

    I've always loved seeing how other moms do their day & what works for them & their baby. As a mom myself (and new grandmother) also fostered several years ago, it's fun to see what's trendy now and what's not. I've tried it all that's for sure! Baby led weaning & super early bedtimes never worked for me. But I love seeing all the options these day! I've been watching Briony since she first started, I love her voice how she speaks so professionally all the time, she's such a sweet well spoken young lady. And now a wonderful mummy!!!!!
    Much love from across the pond!!!

I had to massage the breast while pumping and give it more time, I also upped the suction for a few sucks here and there and it seemed to help a lot

      I found before working out my correct flange size it would be painful to pump and I really wasn’t getting much milk but now I have the right flange inserts my pumps are working better and I’m getting more milk. My baby girl has CHD. She has a large VSD (hole in heart) and DORV (it’s to do with the plumbing in the heart). Up until ten days she was fed completely off the breast but since then I have gone to exclusively pumping and she is now completely fed via NG tube and pump. We had medical people and health visitors coming out twice a week for weigh in and she is now getting weighed once a week and is having her open heart surgery on the 6th October but we have so many appointments and things to remember. We were on a high calorie formula but it didn’t agree with her so she is just on breast milk and finally gaining weight ahead of surgery xx

    Unsure how to reply to your stories on FB without everyone and their dog seeing it from my friends list. But when you went on the cruise ship I really wanted to say SHOE ORGANIZER!! it's ideal for kids packing on holiday. I rolled all of baby's rompers, outfits to vests, babygrows, toys, toiletries, swimwear all into a £12 shoe organizer from Argos. I have a dyno label machine so tagged all the pockets with what's in them then when I arrived I just hung his shoe organizer from a door...boom...sorted 👌 and bought Lidl nappies when we arrived.
    Sterilizing zippy bags are also great for travel. You just add a little water and pop the item in, whack it in the microwave and your done, each bag can be used I'm sure it's like 10 times
    Oh and formula...if your flying order it to boots 'After Security' and it won't count towards your luggage allocation ☺️
