Paint with me - Time-lapse of Water Fairy

Hello friends! Come paint with me on this dark and rainy California day! My goal for today was to test out this linen canvas paper. This miniature oil painting took me three hours to complete.
I was inspired by aquatic plants, the peaceful ripple of the waves and the lily pad that crowns the fairy. I still need help drawing the fairy floating with a waterline, ripples, and water bubbles, so I'm open to comments on how to achieve this technique.
