I made this in a baby blanket using a cake yarn and it turned out beautiful! Even though the color changes are abrupt I feel like it doesn’t take away from the pattern. Thanks for sharing this video

I love this pattern. I wouldn't change anything. You start your corners just like I do for my granny square

Currently making a baby blanket with this pattern using Hobby Lobby's "I Love This Yarn" in Spun Sugar which is a pastel print (not quite variegated). It is coming out quite pretty.
I have just finished making Part 1. So far, so good. Moving onward
I LOVE this pattern.. so pretty!! And I'm using LB Mandala yarn in the color Sprite and it's coming out well! I DOOO Love how the Ice Cream yarn changes colors for each round.. My colors stretch into 4 rows of this beginning piece. Love, Love, Love this tutorial.. Thank You do much Spider!! 😘💞

Am using Lion brand as well! However had to order from Amazon cause nowhere seems to sell it locally in the UK (unless I wanted to travel miles and miles) . I'm using colourway "Cotton Candy" and Im in love! Love the colour changes and the variety of colours are fab too!! Much love Fiber, you're the best!! ❤️

I'm making this! Love the granny look patterns but am too lazy to make the individual squares. This is perfect! I've got a couple of colorful Mandala skeins in my stash that would be perfect.

So far, so good! (I mean me and my beginning project, of course - your tutorials are always great!) I appreciate the time stamps. I'm working with Lion Brand Summer Nights in Treasure Island, which is very thin, and a 3.5 crochet hook, so I''m not stitching very fast on this one. I'm looking forward to seeing how the pattern develops from here.

I put in down a month ago bcuz I felt i was doing a lot of personal projects and my main crocheting is done for premie /sleeping baby's I donate to the nicu and people donate lots of squishy yarn to me so I can make the tiny items x but I'll pick it back up soon x

The only confusion I have is when exactly to chain 4 instead of 2 chain. Can you help me a little. Thank you so much and sorry for my writing my English is not that good.

Just wondering..why not do a chain 4, then slip stitch into the 3rd chain of the beginning chain to finish off the round at the corners?
