Saw a comment that my lighting might have washed out the handheld a little bit during the device tour. I can't find the comment so the commenter might have deleted it, but I wanted to respond anyway. This was a very difficult handheld to film due to the fact that it is entirely white. I tried a bunch of different techniques: adjusting the focus, turning the lights down, lowering the saturation and exposure in final cut. There are still a couple of parts where it is hard to see the buttons due to how white the handheld is. Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for understanding.
That was me! I didn't want anyone else to see it, figured you saw it. Are you using a lot of diffusion material for your softbox? Adding some may help! I'm sure if you ask Russ or any of the guys on what to do, they'll show you how to set your lights up correctly. Sorry, I deleted the comment, didn't wanna make you look bad. Great review though!
Oh sorry didn't realize that was supposed to be private. I'll have to ask them about it again. I tried setting up some softboxes but it ended up diffusing the light too much and making a ton of shadows. Thanks for bringing my attention to it though I'll try to have some stuff figured out before the next video.
40xxv is the only Anbernic H700 device I have kept. I prefer horizontal devices but this one hit home with me. Best d-pad they have made in a long time.
