- The Anbernic RG40xxV has turned out to be a surprisingly nostalgia handheld. Oddly the form factor only mimics the DMG I grew up playing. But with the nearly eagles display and addition of classic bezels I find myself getting lost in the handheld while playing Retro Games.

Ordered one yesterday, allready have a steam deck oled but wanted something small for the older stuff.
I wonder if the Gulikit switch sticks would work better than the stock one.
Oh yeah undoubtedly. If put GuiliKit hall sticks in most all my handhelds. I’ll probably check and see if I have the right stick for it or order one up

Thank you and I’m working on fitting it in. My uploads are falling behind do to some testing 8m currently doing. But I think the button fix will be important
do you know if its posible to connect bluetooth headphones to those retro handhelds?
Not many Linux handhelds support the BT profile for audio. I haven’t tried it on this one because the SOC didn’t change but I’ll try it out and give you a definitive answer
@@CellPhish yes please. i have been wanting to buy one of those retrohandhelds for a while. but the lack of bluetooth would be a dealbreaker for me

Read that the joystick is 8 way and not a smooth 360 motion. Any comments based on your experience?
Yes which is good because that’s software regulated. Out of the box it acts like an 8-way fight stick
