That feeling when you're so hyped to see the return of Luke Skywalker after 34 years... ...then The Last Jedi happens, and you wish you could bleach your eyes.
And starkiller base was just a base, it's only purpose was to destroy the republic, yes they had thousands of soldiers stationed but it didn't matter that it was destroyed since they destroyed the republic and it's fleet.
