  • Properly mapping controllers for batocera using arcade sticks or even a standard controller. Great for an arcade mod such as Arcade1up or even your most common controllers

I don't understand why people are making these videos..... You show a arcade cabinet, you said you will show how to setup properly the buttons.... You setup the controller!? When are you going to setup the arcade buttons?! Fking when !!?

Next time , turn the phone side ways, so the view is wider, and put it on a stand, that way we can see better.

@@Bonemusic23 yes you can. You can map for a specific game only or even a specific console only. Refer to this video.

I'm having trouble with a fresh installed batocera... I don't have any controllers mapped at all. I have USB keyboard functionality and i'm able to get to the menu where you could arrow down, but the arrow keys don't do anything.
What is the easiest way to map one controller?
Can i just plug in any USB controller like a ps3 one and at least have the arrow keys work?
Is there a predefined key bind on the keyboard?

Yes that would be a very simple method especially for initial setup

Depends. Can you be a bit more specific on what’s happening and what hardware you are using?
