  • At the heart of the Trophy, is the same characterful three-cylinder engine developed for the Tiger Explorer. The shaft driven, 1215cc triple, delivers an impressive peak power of 134ps at 8,900 revs and peak torque of 120 Nm at 6,450rpm. Over 100Nm of torque is available from 2,500rpm to 9,500rpm providing smooth, effortless power whenever needed. To ensure the optimum level of refinement, the engine features a counter rotating balancer shaft to smooth out crank shaft vibrations, while a torsional damping system is used to transfer power from the gearbox to the shaft drive through a sprung bevel gear. In addition to this, a metalastic shaft drive is used which allows a certain amount of compliance in the shaft assembly. These combined features help to provide a refined drivetrain and overall chassis performance which ensures the power is delivered in a smooth and controllable manner..

I think Triumph really it the target, has far aim concerne im terms of Long distance tour and good loockings this bike can be the 2 Best option on the Market and i think that If Triumph just had worck more on the appeal of the controls this bike Could beat the Bmw K 1600 GTL because its smaller more usefull in my view and beat the BMW Rt 1200r because the Triple engine is more Fun on highway.. Anyway the King of all Big Tours bikes has to be the K 1600 GTL is just like one 7 series BMW..

I guess this big bikes only Win there repution above Sort touring motorcycles because of the Big Weather proctecion, because they use seats more confortable abd because it has one radio=).. If not people would by one Kawasaki Concours and just put the heat grips and seat and they woill be happy because is faster and have also a great weather proctecion and is cheaper.. Why people whant a GoldWing? I let the k 1600 GTl pass because the bike can be sporty and the sound of the engine is great..
