Through it all, he's been the most famous Italian basketball player in the world. In our newest episode of RIDE ALONG, we flipped the format with a bike ride to the Pepsi Center and discussed everything from getting traded for Carmelo to the crime lords that fill his Netflix queue.

Ok first year we got swept with billips second year was the only time the knicks ever did good and melo really hasnt done nothing after that other than being injured and chucking bad shots
+eralp turan we made the playoffs for the first time in 7 years... Then we won 54 games.. Melo has averaged around 27 points in his career with the knicks on 47 percent shooting which is good... What has melo done smh.. What are we without melo? We would be just like the 6ers or the suns. Last year proves what we are without our ONLY superstar. Hopefully KP becomes a factor

+eralp turan the max contract was actually given 2 years ago... He also dropped 62 points after and has averaged 26 points in these 2 years and this being his 3rd. If you average this year in he still avering around 25 points AFTER THE MAX CONTRACT... So please let me know how it was a mistake to keep a superstar.. Our ONLY superstar. The knicks just dont know how to build around him and havent gottwn another superstar to come to ny like lebron had klove and kyrie and dwade and bosh, or like curry has klay and draymond. Definitely not a mistake to keep a player who is the face of the franchise. Plus melo has never had a major injury until his surgery last year.. And this year hes only missed 5 games which isnt a lot since lebron has missed 3, kd 4, kyrie a bunch, dwad like 7 and more.
