    Can you please share your experience joining with a dependent and what the paperwork was like with your recruiter with a dependent?

      I didn’t join with a dependent, I got pregnant after I had enlisted. My situation was very out of the ordinary.

    Hi, how many showers did you get a day? and we’re they timed?

    • @meandbaby4833
      @meandbaby4833  3 года назад

      I was on the winter schedule so we got one shower every day and ranged from 10 minutes to 40 minutes depending on the schedule for the day and how our MTI’s were feeling. I believe summer schedule gets two showers per day but I’m not positive.

    How did you deal with being away from your baby? I leave in a month and being away from my daughter is the scariest part for me.

    Was there a lot of yelling on zero week? And how many weeks did you end up doing, I heard that with covid, they shorten the length of BMT

    • @meandbaby4833

      There was less yelling than I expected. They really only yell at you for safety reasons. Like hold on to the hand rail on the stairs, put your cap on (so you don’t get burned), you’re out of step or turn the wrong way while marching. All safety related. BMT is now 7 1/2 weeks instead of 8 1/2.

      @@meandbaby4833 I’m about to join soon, my biggest concern is passing the PT test, as of right now I am currently training for the PT portion although i still feel like I won’t be able to pass it , I feel like I’m mentally prepared but at the same time I have no idea what to expect and I guess that thought is very nerve wrecking to me.

      @@kattsue6784 I was honestly really nervous for PT before I went to BMT, and stressing over it the entire time I was there, which should hopefully be in my next video. But I passed. They’re not trying to fail you. So if you go in with a positive attitude and put in the effort, you’ll do fine.
