I am married and I will correct you on one thing. It depends on who you are married to. My hubby doesn't dictate anything. He let's me have my own life. Sometimes I even forget I am married 😂. If you get married to your friend you will be fine. Though I will not lie to you marriage is not easy. You have to put in the work both of you.

The ones who get lucky are those who get married by their long term friends otherwise they may never get married or they end up second wife's which is okay or they get married by divorced men which is also okay even though thats not what they'd wished for. A 30plus year old man doesn't value a woman's career, he values a peace of mind the most!

How about the woman who knew how to cook,took care of her self,took care of her children, husband and home etc but, stilll the man went out to cheat on her and also abused her throughout the marriage. When it became too much for her,she divorced him and left with the children. Where did she go wrong in the marriage?
It's not the man, it's you. Do you watch Benjamin Zulu ? Dont question the consequences, deal with the roots. How did you get to a point a man puts his hands on you? Did you study him long enough before you married him. Were there red flags you ignored? How old were you when you got married coz maturity matters
