My grandfather served in Korea and in Vietnam. He had a Vietnamese family who lived next door to his house in southern California. I very rarely saw him. I recall two times in my life, outside of the few months we lived with him when I was a toddler. He had a German shepherd that I adored. I asked about him when we visited him when I was nine. He told me the neighbors ate him. I believed him. I had seen that episode of MASH where Radar's dog was eaten by the villagers, so I never doubted him. It's simple little lies like that that keep us all hating and distrusting each other. And the GOP feeds and thrives on that hatred. They need it to stay in power. It's disgusting and it's poisoning our country.😢
