I made it last night and it was delicious. I liked it better than Panda Express...I made only 2 adjustments: the amount of heat and I boiled green beans for 3 minutes and then added them last minute to frying onions( they turned our perfect this way: not too crunchy and not soft, 4 minute total cook time). Thank you so much for your recipe. You got yourself a new subscriber 😊
@@WooCanCook So it's a year since my original comment and this is still my go-to when I do a "home Panda" night. Really appreciate your channel, my Chinese game is way better after finding your excellent content. 👍👍
Terrific recipe! My only comment is that a couple of the ingredients I have zero experience finding or using. But (sigh) I will try this with what I have (which is many Asian sauces and pastes already in my larder.
nice! What are you missing? i also did a pantry basics video a while back to help with subs, which has been useful...! wok cooking pantry basics ruclips.net/video/DvQ4ZRn8TbQ/видео.html&lc
Oh no! I would recommend diluting the sauce with a little bit of water, then adding it in in batches of about 3-4 tbsp at a time, to taste. The dark soy sauce and bean paste are both quite concentrated, so if you throw it all in, it could definitely become overpowering
I will admit, I try to follow your recipe but it’s not apparently printed and I was trying to follow the video…that was hard for an old foodie like me.

It’s beyond an umami bomb…that dark soy is all I taste. Needs some moderation.
