That's a very nice series overall, it was difficult to choose only three

Dang, I remember these. The only series I fully collected except the beaver hat dude, never could find him :/. The Royal guard was my favorite, got like 6 of them :D

Pin 2011, my brother and I were feeling through packets. Behind the box, I found a lizard suit head so we continued to look for the rest of the pieces. We were there for about half an hour and we found every piece of the lizard suit guy.

Nice review, my fave has to be the Lizard guy since it's Godzilla. Cant wait till you get to the Series 6, which happens to be my favorite overall CMF series.

Did anyone notice a resemblance between the lumber jack and the werewolf from the halloween Minifigures?
Mr. Beaver I know this comment was from months ago, but, I think that werewolf is supposed to be the lumberjack.

It's really interesting that Boombox piece had never appeared in any sets since then!
Did you know the lumberjack turns into the werewolf from series 14 Monsters?? It's the same torso design - nice touch by Lego right there.

That zookeepet could be used as Jane for the Tarzan inspired figure in the later series.

This is actually one of my favorite sets. I have about 8-10 of these and am really keen to get hold of the rest at some point (how you afford all this stuff I will never know)

Are the boxer's gloves separate pieces or are they replacements for the normal mini-figure hands?
the only minifigure I got out of the set was the royal guard, I would've liked the 80's fitness instructor, cavewoman and the evil dwarf!

That clown scared me. I was so disappointed that the clown was the only minifigure I got from series 5.
