W.I.T.C.H. is a French-American animated television series based on the Italian comic book series of the same name. The animated series was produced by SIP Animation in association with and with participation from Jetix Europe, The Walt Disney Company and France Télévisions.
The show follows five girls - Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia, and Hay Lin - who have respective magical powers over the classical elements quintessence, water, fire, earth and air, which they use to fulfill their duties as Guardians of the Veil. The names of these five characters form the titular acronym, despite the characters not actually being witches. The show takes place in the fictional city of Heatherfield and various mythical worlds, primarily Meridian.
The second generation of legendary Guardians of the Veil - Wilhelmina "Will" Vandom, Irma Lair, Taranee Cook, Cornelia Hale and Hay Lin - must save planet Meridian from the evil Prince Phobos and Lord Cedric, who are searching for the tyrannical prince's younger sister, the long-lost princess of Meridian and true heir to the throne. They later find her to be Irma and Taranee's classmate and Cornelia's best friend, Elyon Brown, and the Guardians then set about saving her from Prince Phobos' cunning.
When Meridian is finally freed from evil and the true heir takes the throne, a mysterious sorceress named Nerissa releases Prince Phobos' top henchmen and reforms them as the Knights of Vengeance to act as a distraction to the Guardians. Once the Guardians learn more about the sorceress and her evil plan of reuniting the other four former Guardians- the deceased Cassidy, Halinor, Yan Lin and Kadma- they are able to defeat the Knights of Vengeance, only to battle with more powerful Knights of Destruction made from Nerissa's dark vengeful feelings of hatred and anger, fear and misery: Shagon, Khor, Tridart and Ember.
The Guardians' chief ally is Hay Lin's paternal grandmother Yan Lin, the original, former Guardian of Air, and the one that taught the girls about their magical abilities and destiny as the second generation of Guardians of the Veil. They are also helped by Caleb, a heroic soldier from Meridian, leader of the rebellion against Phobos, and Blunk, a frog-like goblin creature (known as a Passling) who takes things from the human world to Meridian (and vice versa), humorously mistaking everyday objects for other things or items of value. Matt, Will's boyfriend, accidentally learns about Meridian and when he sees the troubles there going on, he learns how to become a warrior to help them.
The Boys is an American superhero web television series developed by Eric Kripke for Prime Video. Based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, it follows the eponymous team of vigilantes as they combat superpowered individuals who abuse their abilities.
The Boys is set in a universe where superpowered individuals are recognized as heroes by the general public and work for the powerful corporation Vought International, which markets and monetizes them. Outside of their heroic personas, most are arrogant and corrupt. The series primarily focuses on two groups: the Seven, Vought's premier superhero team, and the eponymous Boys, vigilantes looking to bring down Vought and its corrupt superheroes.
The Boys are led by Billy Butcher, who despises all superpowered people (whom he calls "Supes") and the Seven are led by the narcissistic and violent Homelander. At the start of the series, the Boys are joined by Hughie Campbell after a member of the Seven accidentally kills his girlfriend, while the Seven are joined by Annie January, a young and hopeful heroine forced to face the truth about those she admires. Other members of the Seven include the disillusioned Queen Maeve, drug-addicted A-Train, insecure the Deep, the mysterious Black Noir, and supremacist Stormfront. The Boys are rounded out by tactical planner and medic Mother's Milk, weapons specialist Frenchie, and superpowered test subject Kimiko. Overseeing the Seven is Vought executive Madelyn Stillwell, who is later succeeded by publicist Ashley Barrett.
The first season depicts the initial conflict between the Boys and the Seven, which is motivated by Butcher believing Homelander caused his wife Becca's disappearance. While Homelander and Stillwell conspire to receive government support for superheroes, the Boys attempt to stop them by uncovering Vought's secrets. Initially unaware of each other's affiliations, Hughie and Annie muddle the conflict when they enter into a romantic relationship, despite Butcher's distrust of her.
W.I.T.C.H was one of my favourite shows growing up, but i have never thought of the series power-scaling, cool to see someone talking about it.
In the Witch comics the girls created clones of themselves that gradually evolve their own personalities. So. They are able to create sentient beings too.
I mean this is homelander we're talking the seven obviously they're going to lose against anyone verse but now it just feels like bullying😂

It's so hard to compare because power scaling/structure works differently, ie ATLA vs Harry Potter. This was a creative video!
The only people who could take on the Guardians as equals are the Demigods of Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter in the Percy Jackson Universe. Specifically children of the big three, Thalia, the daughter of Zeus, Percy, the son of Poseidon, and Nico, the son of Hades.
This... might be an interesting idea for a future video.
W vid. I had no idea that witches were this powerful I def gotta check out the show and comics in the future. Keep up the great work.
