We saw them live as the opening act for William Prince & they were excellent. Kacy is honestly hilarious, even when she doesn't mean to be. It's like deadpan stand up comedy. Her voice sounds like she's from the 60s or 70s. Iconic.
I've noticed that no matter where they are, her voice shoots out of the speakers and hits you in the forehead. I've recorded a couple people who have that kind of voice that no matter if they are singing on a 5 dollar mic, they make it sound incredible.
They're just plain wonderful, and listening to them talk I love them even more now. All I can tell you is they're gonna get some sugars if they don't stop it right this minute! Also - the host should provide a little table for his guests to set their drinks on.
I've loved all this band's work but oh man the 2020 album is just phenomenal. Carrying On set a pretty high bar, but Plastic Bouquet is just more gold man. Much love from Montreal
