Hi Karen. All podcasters should include their pooches. I’m working on a lot of hats because that’s really what I feel like making, all colorwork but simple colorwork. I made the Siksak hat for dad and Im finishing up on a matching cowl for him too. I made the melrose hat but I chose the wrong size, i should have gone with the medium. I also finished the easy peasy hat but that’s good for child because I chose the smallest size. I’m still new to colorwork but I find it holds my concentration longer which is good in the winter months.

Welcome back! The Gilliatt yarn softens up a LOT when you first block it. Give your swatch a soak with wool wash before you decide.

YAY. Great seeing you back, love your podcasts. Also, if you are taking suggestions, the two skeins of Oink Pigment could be paired with a neutral, cream or something, mohair and you could definitely do a "Lento" sweater in your size. It is an open gauge and I think looks good in any yarn, even funky variegated/specked. The other skeins would definitely make an awesome huge something. If you are down for a fingering weight sweater, perhaps a "Piece of Silver". Your vest turned sweater is sunning & the puppers are both the cutest. Adorable.

So nice to see you back over here! Your T/Tok is great but these type videos are nicer because I can enjoy a cup of ☕️ and your beautiful makes (that pullover 😍!) for more than a few seconds. That Noro yarn is beautiful - what a lovely fabric it’ll create. It’s funny that you’re planning a sweater for your husband - I recently saw a video focusing on the same topic. Glad to see you again Karen. I also started the Twists and Turns shawl, my first MKAL and got to about where you are in November. Then it just sat until 3 weeks ago. I just ploughed through it, and finished it so fast! Not something I think I shall wear, but I enjoyed the new things I learnt, so for me a success! Love your hats too. Looking forward to the next podcast.
Hi Karen, so happy to see you’re back! I’ve been thinking about you and your Stephen West Shawl! It was definitely a doozie….. I managed to finish mine, but my kids are grown and I have no job……. I would have never gotten it done, even if I would have stayed up all night and knit my fingers off! 😂😂 Sometimes I go on Ravelry and put the Gilliatt yarn in the search to see what other people have knit with it to get some ideas……. Don’t worry about having alot of knitting done, it’s just fun to catch up with the projects and progress that you have made…..and your fur babies are adorable!

Yay, you are back! I put Twists & Turns in timeout for a good month to work on holiday makes and picked it back up to finish in January. It felt good to finish it and I am happy I stuck with it. Yours will be awesome when you decide the timing is right to work on it!

Lovely to see you again! I started following you when you did Stephen West MKAL 2022 videos, but I don’t think I ever commented. I haven’t finished it yet either, so for what it’s worth, you make me feel better! :D Other than that, I’m working on a lot… Two pairs of socks, the Ribba skirt, the Poet sweater, anf the Hoodie (by Vanessa Pellisa). I live in Sweden, so the weather is mostly very knitworthy. 😂 Today it’s sunny and 16F, so perfect to sit inside and knit while watching the beautiful weather though the window. :)
Oh, and I LOVE the mohair color you dyed yourself!!
The toys in the background is what let me watch you this morning with my 2 yo grandson. He told me everything on your shelves! And he thinks your last 2 skeins look like Buzz Lightyear 😅
