oh wow.... just great. Unfortunately there is no "thrift store" like this in Germany. Such brilliant things for junk journaling. I like the way you put things together. So uncomplicated. Thanks for your ideas....hugs Iris 🥰

Hi Michelle. I am really enjoying this mish mash of scraps and bits and pieces. I love your stapler. I use one the same but it's all black. I love it. Your thrift finds are awesome. Little sewing kit as well? Love it!!
This journal is gonna be cool and what a great find I have vintage wrapping paper that came out of an old store that is similar but in a light brown paper that has the print on it
Always love your videos Michelle. Thank you for sharing. I do get a wee bit jealous, though, watching everybody find all the wonderful goodies at the secondhand stores. Even just being able to go to a dollar store would be a thrill! I live on an island, and it's a total desert when it comes to secondhand stores. And no dollar stores either. Have to purchase everything brand new from amazon. Even trying to buy on etsy or eBay is a problem because shipping is so expensive.😒 This was a fun little idea. I'll have to give it a try tomorrow. Thanks again!❤😂
That would be frustrating. I would so miss my thrift shops. Maybe you can start a group for exchanges with local crafters? Anything that helps people get creative!
Hi Michele, thanks again for the inspiration. In the Netherlands there is no thriftstore from the Salvation Army (maybe one in Amsterdam, but I live on the Middleton east side of our country). And other thriftstores don't have journaling stuff 😢 Looove the wallpaper 👍 Bye bye Anjo 👋👋🌈
Hi, new to your channel and I am loving what I am watching so far. The white envelope with red and blue is a US airmail envelope, at least it looks like one. It is thin so it won't cost as much to mail a letter overseas. I used to send them to my brother who lives in Iceland. Email and texting has probably sent many of these to the thrift shops. Love that wallpaper and now I will be will be looking at medical tapes differently!!
@@thecreativecove6898 There used to be paper that went with them. I think it was a thin onion skin type that would be great to collage with too. Oh, and I went to a dollar store yesterday and found paper tape and cloth tape in the bandage section. It shows lots of potential. I got some gauze but I’m not so sure about it. At least it works for boo-boos!! 🤣😍
Hi Michele 😊 enjoyed watching you create and yes you are inspiring. Totally get your excitement over your goodies, my family think I'm nuts when I get excited over an old envelope😂 sending best wishes 🌿
What do you use them ( the junk journal)for? I never understood why you would use one like you made here, I like it, it’s very different in a good way.
For me they are a tangible thing. I like to build and collect. I look through them, add sketches, give away and sometimes they are more practical, I use them for note taking for different disciplines like cooking, knitting, sketching etc. but mostly I just love to play with paper 😊
That wallpaper is so PHENOMENAL for junk journal stuff! WOW!
I know. I’m in love

I meant 'middle east side' haha, ooh those automatic corrections 😮
Oh that’s too bad. I would miss my thrift shops. I hope you can find other resources 😊

That makes a lot of sense. I do see them often at the thrift shop. Thank you so much for watching. 😊

Aww thank you 😊
I love how you just go for it. I think way to much, I need to think out the box more and just be free…..can you tell me how? Lol
My secret is work quickly the. I don’t have time to think. 😂😂 hope that helps
Neato! Which of the tapes was transparent if anyone knows please?
It used to be that most clothing came with extra buttons. And a lot of those seem to be those extra buttons.

how are your scraps so pretty? mines full of random food packaging and post 😂
😂Trying to think where they all come from. Lol. I’ve been accumulating scraps for longer than I can remember lol.
All the regrets about old tags, labels, etc that were tossed over the years…. Great ideas for future “formerly” trashed bits though. 😂
lol I hear ya. I just think of all the “stuff” I have tossed out now that I junk journal. Oh the possibilities I had. lol
