  • This video was created last minute. Taken using our handphones. This short trip is to charge up the battery and ensure that the bike is in good running condition. The location was a perfect location for our rest point as there is nobody around.
    Three things i love about this BMW R1250GS HP Rally..
    1) FAST BIKE.. but power is still manageable. With the four modes, you still can be fast and safe in any riding condition.
    2) SUPER COMFORTABLE.. for rider and pillion. With the automatic suspension control, it is very easy to adjust to rider's style and road conditions.
    3) LIGHT WEIGHT.. even at 249kg, this bike is actually light when moving. Due to the low boxer engine, the CG (Center of Gravity) is lower than most bikes. And the extended boxer engine allows the bike to be at an angle which makes lifting the bike upright easier.

    You need to be careful lifting it like that i really don't recommend it. Grab it the sam eplace but have your back facing the bike. It's so much easier and lowers the risk of injury.

      Thank u. Done trying that too. 😃

    Your video made up my mind to buy a GS1250. I was thinking of a Harley or Diavel. But traffic in the philippines and my annual travel down south for the fruit season should make this bike fit to my needs. I already have an R3, Ninja1000, and Cb650r.

    • @aceandymirza
      @aceandymirza  3 года назад

      GS1250 with vario panniers.. still can lane split comfortably. Our traffic here in Singapore can also be quite heavy. So this bike is still a practical bike.

      Something different. Does it catch your attention? If yes.. Good. And prove a point that lifting up without the proper lifting technique... also can pick up.

    Great machine!!! I see u can flat foot the ground. Is this the Low seat version? Btw just curious whts your height and inseam? U r one lucky bloke👍

    • @aceandymirza
      @aceandymirza  3 года назад +2

      I change the seat to the normal 2 seater. So its comfy for my wife. This seat I dont think is the low seat version. And the bike height setting at the TFT at minimum which is the lowest.
      I'm 1.66 meters. Wearing riding boots will make me almost flat foot.

      Sorry for the late reply. Yes it's a great machine. And Yes!! I'm a lucky guy. 😁

    What country are you in? Do they require that sticker on the windshield?

    • @aceandymirza
      @aceandymirza  3 года назад

      Welcome to Singapore. The bike came from an authorised dealer with the plate number sticker there. That's legal for sure. But I can change the plate number to the area below the peak. But might be too low and not legal. So Yeah.. Welcome to Singapore. Heard about us before? 🤣

    I hv been asking this question lot of you tubers but non of them reply. Please reply 1 simple question.
    My height is exactly same as yours.
    Does bmw officially supply lowering kit or i have to purchase it from outside. ?
    Cause this bike is very heavy especially in turns n corners..

    • @aceandymirza
      @aceandymirza  3 года назад +1

      I did not purchase any lowering kit. I just change the seat. Not sure what the seat is called. But the seat height can be adjusted abit I think. I will check out and take a picture of it later.
      I just change the settings on the bike easily to minimum height. And that's sufficient for me.
      This is my first bike bike. This bike is not heavy at all. This video is just acting for me. I purposely shake my body when putting down and lifting up the bike. When riding the bike, this bike is very light and smooth.

    There are far better techniques to lift these bikes.

    • @aceandymirza
      @aceandymirza  3 года назад

      Yes. There are better techniques. Its just an act that I dropped and pick it up. This to show that the bike has low CG and can be carried just like that.

    Take an offroad course..learn the proper way to pic up...you might be in gravel or God forbid mud.
