      I've come to notice that using a heating pad helps minimize the pain a little

      I have all a few endo symptoms but it’s only on my first 2 days of when I get my period. I take ibuprofen and require the heating pad also if it’s so bad I have a hot tea to alíviate cramps.

    My endo has totally destroyed my bladder and everything else down there . I live far in the north of Scandinavia and the only thi they did is make it worse . Someone operated me who had no idea what he was doing . Since then I have a Supra pubic catheter . I have no working bladder at all. And the system here isn’t keen on even sending me somewhere to someone who can and is willing to operate me . All I want is to be somewhat pain free and bag free .

      Many patient have overlapping symptoms of endometriosis, pelvic congestion syndrome and other conditions (interstitial cystitis, irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia, vulvodynia). There are many excellent hormonal treatment options. Additionally you should avoid red meat, alcohol, and smoking. Also Omega3 vitamin supplement and antioxidant food such are blueberries can be helpful.

    My cramps are so bad I can’t feel my legs and when I walk it hurts. My periods only last 3 days but start again the next week

    • @DoctorRich
      @DoctorRich  2 года назад +1

      Melissa: thanks for sharing! difficulty walking is not a normal period symptom. endometriosis, autoimmune disease, vascular and many other possible conditions cloud contribute to these symptoms. It is important to find a provider who has the experience to help identify the cause

    I have PCOS and I've had regularly painful cramps that radiate from my uterus my lower back, then to my thighs, under my knee caps, and all the way down to my toes. Causing numbness in my feet and 1000000 out of 10 pain. Going to the ER doesn't help and I feel as though they don't treat the problem, just the symptoms. I've tried every and all recommended at-home remedies (OTC and natural). No luck. Ever.
    Any suggestions?

    I was diagnosed of Endometriosis and had a 4cm "chocolate cyst" last 2018 and had experienced the worst painful menstruation in my life. My Gynecologist suppressed my menstruation for 1 year through hormonal injection, ( i forgot the name) ... and last April 2020 I have my menstruation again, and so far i did not experienced pain during my period...and now I got married, and planning to have a baby. Do i have a chance that my endometriosis will come back again because my period is back???

    • @DoctorRich
      @DoctorRich  3 года назад +1

      Generally speaking, the suppression of endometriosis only occurs during the treatment phase of the injectable medication. After the medicine 'wears off', the endometriosis will generally 'come back'. Each individual's experience will be different.

    I'm only 16 and Im going to the gynecologist next month as my primary doctor referred to one. I'm not sure if it could be endometriosis but i have alot of the same symptoms. I get very very very bad pain in my back stomach and sides. The back pain is sometimes more severe then it is on my stomach. I get it randomly through the month but it's so much worse on my period. Ibuprofen does nothing heat does nothing. Also idk if this is weird but sometimes when I'm walking while not on my period I get this slight cramping feeling on my left side near my hip bone. And I have pain while urinating off and on my period sometimes. I also have irregular bleeding. I also get alot of blood clots. But while on my period it will like stop and start. Like day 1 I have a very heavy period but then day 2 it completely disappeares but then I still am getting cramps during my periods "disappearing" moments. The cramps will get so bad that I will be like shaking sometimes. My cramps also get worse when I use the bathroom. I also feel very fatigued and sometimes dizzy and nauseous when I'm on my period. Also embarrassing enough I get diarrhea only on my period,,,. Could this be signs of endometriosis??? I'm scared it could be but I'm also scared I'm just being dramatic

    If mirena and birth control pills wont help, what ll do to relieve pain?

    • @DoctorRich
      @DoctorRich  3 года назад +1

      Thasni: Thanks for being a subscriber!. There are other medications including gabapentin, and Orilissa. Physical therapy, acupuncture and diet changes can help. If these options are not adequate, you may be a candidate for expert surgical excision.
