I think i remember being affected by an email virus once. Thought it was one of my classmates sending me an email to ask for help, opened it, and then deleted it when it didn't make sense. Hours later i tried logging back in, and my account was deactivated because i was sending so much spam. I was able to recover it and was told that my email was deactivated after sending 10 emails out in very rapid succession. Thanks, Microsoft Outlook

And Sony GDM-W900 which was a 24" 16:10 1920x1200@76Hz monitor, and in the early 00's Sony GDM-FW900 was also 24" 16:10 but it had flat glass on front and 2304 x 1440 at 80 Hz
Some high end 4:3 in the late 90's and early 00's did 2048x1536@85Hz

Me too, when I was 8 years old and this exact virus came out, I literally had horrible nightmares about it for years after. I still have nightmares about viruses sometimes even as a 28 year old. The media was freaking out at the time, and there was actually something genuinely scary about how it fucked with shit and sent out "I LOVE YOU" to everyone you knew.
I love how excited you got when RUclips actually popped up in the search and you were like "Does it load videos?!" and then it cut to black with you like "Nope, not gonna happen."

Every time I see the word, "Love". I think of the song of the same name by Strapping Young Lad. I expected it to be Devin Townsend's voice screaming at you while it wrecks your computer.
I think my highschool got hit by a phishing worm that hit a bunch of hospitals like a week after this uploaded. it found me somehow and sent me an email "from" my mom with no subject or anything in the preview. Asked my mom and she hadn't sent anything so I deleted it without opening. Might've dodged a bullet, but then again chromebooks are known for their incompatibility with downloadable programs so it likely hadn't mattered regardless.
