Really liked the little minigame at the end to try to reveal Steven's more gamer side. Lol. If you get to do another one like this, you should throw some unique social interactions / dilemmas that players might experience in an MMO that typically create conflict and/or drama and ask Steven how he'd handle those situations as a player within Ashes. That'd be kinda cool to hear his gamer mind at work but could also give us more insight on the possibilities of actionable resolutions we could expect within Ashes.
The first time i saw how passionate he was about the game was when he was doing Interviews with Asmongold and the Summit1g/Shroud one 4 years ago. You could just tell he is extremely dedicated to the project. Its pretty contagious.

The answer sounded like 300players total + 2500 NPCs Also, in regards to PvE, Steven has talked about difficulty adjustments (not from pvp) in Dungeon Bosses based on performance. That is still a feature right? It would contribute to the competition vs FFXIV and WoW

I'm really hoping there's good group vs group pvp opportunities and it's not just a zerg fest. I loved roaming in a small - full size group in DAoC. The open world pvp and node wars in Ashes are cool but so far nothing I've seen showcased seems like it'll scratch my itch of the old DAoC 8v8 roaming full group fights. Every game just feels like a zerg fest and I'm not about it. Guess we'll just have to settle for playing a stealth group and being a menace in forced pvp zones if there's no proper group content for my small guild. Hopefully they'll have battlegrounds or arena's that are worth playing in as well at different levels. One of my favorite things from DAoC was being able to turn off xp and keep characters in battlegrounds.
As the game is not hard PvP game it's not a hard PvE game. I would consider it a Political MMO game. Closest I can think back in the days that was like this is Tibia and that game was absolutely amazing! Looking forward to play this game!
On the difficult PvE content, I think for those people who are not in the very top guilds, the ones that release strategies for theme park MMOs, a significant amount of difficulty will be added by not having a consistent available strategy guide for high end raids and dungeons, and also not being able to spec player builds entirely for PvE.
